I was lucky to have had the opportunity to see this Temple in real - i was overwhelmed by the stunnig beauty and architectal perfection 💝all Egypt has many ancient historical Wonders ! Thanks a lot, Best Docu, you are much appreciated 👍🙏
Magnificent! French Egyptologists are top-notch. I would love to see a completed 3D representation of Karnak -- particularly one that would allow you to view it in various iterations. To be able to view it from Mentihotep II through the Ptolomies would be well worth all the work they're doing. This site is full of such wonderful posts regarding the surviving Egyptian architecture & the people who created it -- the one on scribes is great!
Funny hearing this man talk about precision to the miler-meter like we are the most advanced builders 👀😂 do it with 500 ton blocks with no mortar then 😂😂😂😂 when people talk like they know it all , often that is not the case 🎯 the beauty of the ancient world is the questions it leaves us with , and we are yet to find the answers 💚
Who had has the power to do such a damage to the tempels? Who at this time could burn things so hot that granit till the core is outburned? With burning arrows?
Excelent video ! Slds
For those that notice, the dog lying DEAD on the floor at @5:22, can be seen moving at @11:31 . This leads me to believe that the editing of the video is such that the minute 11:33 interview was filmed before the 5::22 interview....pssst, my comments do not have to reflect the truth, as I am just letting you know my opinion...and I am bored.
@@shable1436 Maybe I should have been MORE obvious. I ended my comment with "...my comments do hot have to reflect the truth..." I do not believe the dog was dead in the video. I do not believe the video was edited so we see the dead dog first...I am pointing out what is possible, and how things can presented DIFFERENTLY.

In Jerash I believe theres very good evidence of water wheel powered stone cutting saws. Could easily imagine the Egyptians doing the same sort of thing
@@unbanned6175 Could just as easily imagine them wtih power tools, too...especially given the magnitude and grandieur of the megalithic structures they created and the sheer technical and scientific prowess required to do it.

Where’s the rest of it? Are we supposed to think that everything else just eroded?

Sick documentary on the Karnak temple and reconstruction history as well 👏👏👏

@@markstewart4501 if u neither believe the dog was dead nor the video was edited. Then what's the point in any of your text?

Been there. Amazing.
you know you play sims too much when you can identify the song at 12:15
What about all those drill holes into solid granite, or the clear evidence of the use of power tools.... Should do a documentary about that.
