I just said this to my co-worker. Teddy probably wouldn’t be the best, but he would have been at least as good as Kirk Cousins for a lower price. He was going to be the Vikes franchise QB. Besides needing more time to develop (which he was doing phenomenal the year before his injury), he needed a little more out of the O line (not a new story for the Vikings…).

90% passer rating because his passes are predominantly less than 10 yards per average. This is a dude who checked down on 4th and 12 and missed a wide open Justin Jefferson on a 7 yard game winning touchdown. He’s never thrown more than 15 tds in a season and he keeps getting chances to start. He has had plenty of chances to shine and has rotted like dog shit under pressure. Talk about butterfly effect, if Teddy didn’t get hurt, the Vikings wouldn’t have paid a king’s ransom to the Eagles for Sam Bradford. That trade helped make the Eagles Super Bowl run.

Side note: the Browns conducted a study costing them a six-figure sum to find out who is the best QB prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft. No shocker, the Browns used their pick on the infamous Johnny Manziel. Who was the prospect deemed the best by the study? Teddy Bridgewater. Imagine if the Browns actually honor that study and drafted him as they should. It's highly unlikely Bridgewater would have helped turned things around for the Browns (cause you need more than a QB to build a 53 man roster), but I do feel he will be marginally better than the media circus and headaches Manziel brought with him.

As a Vikings fan, I watched all of Teddy from start to finish, he has always been amazing but unfortunately I can agree he never got lucky at all. The year of the Walsh kabash saw him in his most dominant, and I have no doubt he could have taken us to the promise land considering the Swiss cheese that the Seahawks were facing in the form of the Broncos that year, who were absolute diarrhea that game. He was pretty good this year with the panthers as well despite horrible circumstances with the team that gave them little chance to succeed in the playoffs. But I have faith that with the Broncos he will have some serious success once more. Respect for Two Gloves Teddy baby🙏Skol🙏

I remember when I really started following College Football the 2014 QB class was insanely good in college and they were my favorites to wake up on Saturday and Sunday mornings to see on SportsCenter, and I wanted them all to succeed. I really liked Teddy, and he was my favorite of the QBs as a person. He may not go down as the best QB from that draft class, but he has the determination and will power to be the last one standing out of all of them
