A great break down on how to use the different programs Radion has to offer. Nice job Mathew. Imo it comes down to personal preference whether you choose to run G5, G6 blues or the pro model.
I have 2 Radion XR30 blues for my Prolclear peninsula 200 tank which is 5 ft long. This tank sits the the center of the room between living room and kitchen. I think all the presets are so blue that the fish colors are muted and just doesn't look good in the room. I don't have corals yet but I'm sure the blue light would look great on them. This video will really help me get it fine tuned to get the best balance of esthetic and health of the tank.

So at 85 percent what would your par be at I’m not keen on running no lights at 100 percent and I’m referring to the XR15 which I have four of them over my tank until now I’ve been running them at 65percent without doing par reading So I’m stumped on your finding should I bump up my lights at the an settings.My corals do seem to be growing well just curious thanks for the video , it was great informative

With a light that expensive I'd expect much more par output. I have 2 Gen 5 Blues and was disapointed to learn that I couldnt hit 250 par halfway down my tank to where sps were.
Thats what i thought too. I hear alot of people using AB+ but i guess its not enought for SPS by themselves
Currently have only LPS in my tank and my lights are set to the LPS/Soft preset at 63% schedule intensity. Not sure if i should be using the AB+ schedule instead, or keep with the LPS/softie setting. Curious to know your thoughts.
I have a ? When you set AB+ it shows that all blue at 100% and the rest at 25% about. I have a gen 5 XR30 blue but when I set AB+ it sets all color channels to 100% is that normal with the blue or should it have the other leds besides blues at lower percentage?

I run my lights for 10 hrs a day on my reef from 10;30 am to 8:30 pm and it seems to be adequate . So yo run your lights for 6 a day?

I'm not in anyway trying to be a jerk, but your company could absolutely take a lesson in user friendly light programming. I think the Noopsyche k7 pro 3 is every bit as good as this one is. And I planned to buy it until I saw how bad the light schedule programming was. I paid 2 or 3 times what the Noopsyche costs for this xr15. But it was because of how terrible the program is. If you want to be taken seriously in this field, the program has to be user friendly. This hobby is difficult enough already.
So you have your lights on only 8 hours a day?
I bought the “top of the line light” and it can’t even hold a schedule intensity I set it for… if I didn’t have a par I would of had no idea this was happening…. I set lights to 55% I have 110 par at sand save the schedule and back out of app and my par drops down to 60…. Really disappointing when you drop $600 on a light and you have these issues…. Also customer service has been 👎👎👎👎
