What I'm hoping for is that Anti Lag and reflex start competing to enable the lowest possible latency even when the player has taken precautions to avoid lag with frame caps and lowering of settings, etc. That's real game changing technology and will likely shift market share and sponsorships from esports.
Anti-Lag 2 will mostly benefit FSR Frame Generation, since majority of e-sports titles are highly optimized to begin with. Even then, just having the option doesn't hurt. Also, now modders will be able to make AL2 mods for their respective games and make the overall gaming experience better for a lot of games out there.

I found a really noticeable improvement in the stability and perceived smoothness of the game with my 6600xt at 1440p, especially in smokes which drop the framerate by a bit, depending on the map. Before it would become hell, now it still feels as reactive as in best-case scenarios where I reach the framerate cap. So yeah, I can confirm that in GPU bottlenecks it's already incredibly good

Bro can you make a video to get macimum performance out of 6600xt for valorant only?? I'm looking for the solutions for like a couple of years but I'm unable to find one. Please make a video on this topic.
I hope they get it put back in games that used to support anti-lag+ like Jedi Survivor which I'm trying yet again to play through. I use a controller and even though anti-lag isn't bad from memory anti-lag+ felt better so eagerly await full driver support. As for my very much love hate relationship with Jedi Survivor how they'd ever be stupid enough to release a game with a 120 fps cap without telling us when Fallen Order didn't I'll never understand. Yes I know the game goes over 120 but that's why many of the weird bugs happen they aren't bugs they're engine/physics animation issues. Developers should at least have the sense to tell PC users but they don't I wonder if they even know themselves. It shouldn't happen. As for so far this year no major release has really interested me so far. I mainly enjoy your content you cover things well and are always balanced as far as I've seen.
Hopefully its a stable driver as well then, seems like im stuck on 2023 drivers, all 2024 drivers keeps crashing all games at random for me on my RX6800 :/
A off topic question. I use msi afterburner to cap my fps andd measure temperature and gpu/cpu load etc during gameplay. The reason why i use afterburner is sometimes the adrenaline or drivers crash and reset the tunings but with afterburner i believe the tuning is still active even if adrenaline settings reset. At least thats my understanding.. I have two questions.. 1:Should I use ingame limiters or disable them ingame and use afterburner instead? What do you suggest or prioritize using afterburner for undervolts or adrenaline? I always use adrenaline tuning + msi afterburner simultaneously. Not sure whats best in terms of perfornance, just choose 1 or the ither or just use both
I hope they bring back anti-lag+ i mean is perfect for further reduction in latency without depending on the developers of course , putting it game were they dont have this stupid issue with anti-programs because im sure that anti-lag 2 will not be implemented with the same "will" since is more work for the developers. By the way Radeon Chill have less latency capping the framerate than Radeon FRTC ?🤔
LOL. It's the same with Nvidia's integrated solution: It doesn't do anything when you're running at competitive settings, because the GPU is already idle and ready to receive commands the very instant the CPU dispatches.
What may be issue if I try to turn on AMD sound suppression, circle ⭕️ spinning… then shuts off again? (In adrenaline) I want to try this also with stream pc gpu nvidia sound suppression over using Elgato sound suppression.
I have the anti lag 2 option in my game, but i have 2 options i have enabled or enabled +boost. Enabled +bolst was my default setting. Whats the difference?

UPDATE: The option does not show when running under Vulkan - but it works when using DX11
That's odd indeed. I will try it
Hello. Advice pls. When i play in particular avatar and i move my mouse left to right there is a lot of tearing. is there something in adrnaline that would help with that? 7800x3d 7800xt,. thx
use v sync
That's cool of course, but I want Anti-Lag 2 or its analog to be in the driver as well, like Anti-Lag plus. Normal Anti-Lag does not count, because Anti-Lag 2 is cooler than Anti-Lag
Good to see anti-lag 2 back, but it only can be used to games which Dev need to support it, compare with anti-lag+ , it lacked flexibility , I thought
Exactly, I believe AMD should keep Anti-Lag+ for single player games and use Anti-Lag 2 for in-game implementations
Anti lag+ should come back to drivers with a warning not to use it in mp games
When the SDK releases people will make tools to inject it into any game just like fsr3 but yeah if it was still in adrenaline software it would be much easier
Fabio boas! Olha eu tenho a rx 7900xtx sapphire e tenho cpu 7950x3d eu psu 1300w , tenho problema com grey screen and restart acontece randomly I don’t know why this happens 😕 tens alguma idea o que pode ser ?
Viva, isso pode tb ser a fonte mesmo que seja de 50.000w. Mas eu via o cabo primeiro, e instalava os chipset drivers. Desativa o mpo tb
@@AncientGameplays obrigado! , eu vou ver isso agora Fabio
After this last driver update. SAM will not enable anymore. Any advice. Tried going in the bios doing all the tricks from last time to get it to work but nothing is working.
Update bios, update chipset for CPU.
Did you install any m2-ssd gen4 or even wifi card that effect GapU slot?
You need PCle4 active for GPU.
@@Kage0No0Tenshi did a Bois update right after all other m.2 gpu etc still same as it was before updating. But I'll try chipset update. Thank you
@@houstonastrorider713 btw chipset update have high fail rate by like 50%.
when done with chipset update do no close app and press on link idk with one but there will show with ones that got succsesed
How do you get the extra telemetry. When I keep pressing alt + shift + L it says anti lag telemetry not supported on dx11. As far as I know there’s only Vulkan and dx11 so far for cs2 and anti lag 2 isn’t working for me on Vulkan.
Odd, it should work, what card do you have?
@@AncientGameplays I’ve got the 7800 xt
YAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!
Boas mano, preferes o processador 7700x ao 7800x3d? Reparei que esse é o teu. Abraço bom conteúdo, pelo sotaque vi logo que eras tuga hehehe
Viva, tenho os dois, o 7800x3d é mais rápido
Will this be coming to consoles since the series x has an rdna gpu?
Sadly my Cpu is the weak part in Cs2 now :D cant reach stable 300 all times but good addition.
One of the most gpu intense areas i could find was Anubis in the CT spawn looking at all of the water.
AMD should change something in the latency monitor overlay while holding right control so that i know the key is actually working. 🤣
Try ancient in cs2 even worse, that map in water with smoke push my 6950xt to 100% 365W and only gives 280fps
GVG MAAALL!!
I am here to engage in fantasy!❤
Hopefully its a stable driver as well then, seems like im stuck on 2023 drivers, all 2024 drivers keeps crashing all games at random for me on my RX6800 :/
Bro we're matching steam pfp's
downloaded latest driver. doesn't show up in the advanced video menu. valve please fix
You need to download the one in the description, the PREVIEW DRIVER
Not sure whats best in terms of perfornance, just choose 1 or the ither or just use both
If your settings crash then you aren't stable. Fix that first, then use radeon chill
@@AncientGameplays I edited my post but you are to fast with reply lol!
Still don't get why they didn't leave the option to force it via drivers for single player games.
same
I can only assume to baby proof the feature. Many might just use it in games that will trigger the anti-cheat, get banned then blame AMD for it.
Yeap, radeon chill is much better than frtc
LOL. It's the same with Nvidia's integrated solution: It doesn't do anything when you're running at competitive settings, because the GPU is already idle and ready to receive commands the very instant the CPU dispatches.
#AMDRadeonGaming ❤
What may be issue if I try to turn on AMD sound suppression, circle ⭕️ spinning… then shuts off again? (In adrenaline) I want to try this also with stream pc gpu nvidia sound suppression over using Elgato sound suppression.
Clean install the drivers
@@AncientGameplaysokay thanks
it's nice that AMD supports customers with older hardware instead of tying their new features to new hardware.
I have 7700xt. i installed the latest version of amd but the anti lag feature does not appear in the game
jesus, watch things properly for god's sake... here: www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-24-5-1-AL2-TECH-PREVIEW.html
AMD should get the anti-cheat software developers to include it.
I have the anti lag 2 option in my game, but i have 2 options i have enabled or enabled +boost. Enabled +bolst was my default setting. Whats the difference?
I have only 1 option here, odd
@@AncientGameplays its sussy i think. Maybe the amd love the rx 5700xt and they add special feature. I hope i dont get vac ban for this :)
@@marfccc dude, you can't get vac ban if the setting is inside the game lol
