Love the tone of that guitar it just fills the room and cuts through amazingly... Very similar to the tone I use. Can't beat a telecaster. Great Worship and unity with the whole team!!
Jem this is the nigel hendroff preset ya? Wish I had analog pedals to be able to get this tone haha stomp's dsp is so limited can't put drives on ur droff preset but all good. I'll just enjoy your ac30 and dc30 presets ❤
so, you're giving direction to band with the mic into their IEM? we used to have lead singer give hand signals. Seems Ipads are a big thing on stages now. I still have list of songs and keys on one sheet of paper and that's it. I find trying to fiddle with Ipads and scrolling etc too distracting. Nice guitar tone. Just started using a friedman IR-D and fender fr10 to replace my mesa single rec. love the compact light weight rig, yet still based on old school valve pre-amp and controls
Hey buddy you don't need an iPad. I am the lead singer/worship leader and play instruments and I give my crew instructions on talk back mic. We don't use tracks but we do use an app called ultimate guitar and it has a lot of songs and you can put them in order as well as change the chords and it has a scroll function and the speed of it so you don't need to use your hands which is good for a musician so you can focus on playing..me personally I like to memorize all the chords and every word to the songs so you don't have to worry about the phone. But yeah try that app out.
@@asysr28 I'm a passionate memory man too. I learn the songs off by heart and don't use Ipad or paper cheat sheets etc. Problem is, i usually don't know which songs they will choose for me to learn till the night before the service. I play in cover bands where i need to know 50 songs off by heart.
@@JpeterZoom-gt3pn thanksgiving is the best American holiday and im coming from Australia! The world would be a better place if they took a day to reflect what they’ve thankful for with family and friends.

Is that the guitar you put the new pickups in? If so it sounds great.

Looks like you have more singers and musicians on stage than you used to have in your former entire congregation ❤
Great playing! Although I was a little confused with the 80s worship title 😅
“Give Thanks” was from 1986 haha!
How big is this stage? 😅 love seeing the kids and orchestra section up there

@@rockychieng88 its on during all of give thanks and also some parts of the first song
Give Thanks was published in '78 - not an '80s tune!
A service on Thanksgiving? That’s … interesting.
Don't have thanks giving where I live...it is weird to watch this American cultural phenomenon...

Why is a day set aside to remember to be thankful weird to watch?
