WARNING: Battery operated tools are for California compliance only, nothing else. In California, most properties with lawns are under HOA's or sprawling condominium/apartment complexes that are professional managed. They have contractors that mow lawns daily for a living. Battery operated tools need regular use to get your money's worth out of them. A regular homeowner in middle America that uses their tools occasionally will be very disappointed at the lifespan and performance of the tool. Any store in anywhere else in America is just stealing your money by selling them to you.
Speaking as a middle America home owner, not having to winterize every single piece of equipment I own, was well worth it after just one season. All my AK series lawn care implements have been reliable and considerably less finicky than anything with a gas engine that I have ever owned. I'm a big fan of low maintenance and low volume. With the exception of my 460 magnum saw (some things you just can't replace), I'll go electric any day. Seems like you've already decided anything electric is a california conspiracy though. Good luck. Change must be scary to you.
@@SuperReuvers Winterization: empty the gas tank and start the engine to burn the fuel out of the carburetor. None of my gas equipment is finicky and not being locked into a battery monopoly means I have a choice of what equipment I want to buy at a lower price. Speaking as a middle American, Of course.
Great job! For my AK Tools: I have the Hedge Trimmer, blower, 140 Chainsaw. For my AP Tools: RMA 510V Mower, and the KMA 135R.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Even though a ak20 battery is recommended can an ak30 be used ?
Yes, you can use any of the batteries. You will just get more run time with the larger battery.
Aha the AI series kombi is what I was shown at Ace Hardware. I told them it would be for commercial use...
Glad you got it figured out.
Excellent presentation! Thanks
Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed it!
How does a person remove the battery from a stihl charging unit.
do you have a video on the AP series line up?
Not yet. Hoping to maybe get one out there in the near future. Stay tuned!
@@WesternEquipment ok thanks.
What Western Equipment do you work at? I live in Amarillo TX, we have one on I27.
I work kind of all over haha. I bounce around from place to place. Thanks for watching!
Good review but please get rid of the ridiculous and annoying "music"
