Well, that was painless when you consider what a faff it can be in something like a Bachmann Class 40! Nice, ATB, Andy.

Thanks Andy. Yeah, 100% drama free thankfully.

im abit of noob with dcc, at 2:43 is there already a dcc decoder installed on this model, or when you put the loksound 5 into the pin socket, that is the dcc decoder itself. im just wondering, if i was to buy a loksound 5 with a sound speaker and stay alive, do i need to buy a seperate decoder for the loksound, or is it a decoder itself?

Assuming you purchase a DCC Ready model rather than DCC Fitted or Sound Fitted, there will be a small PCB installed in the DCC socket that is just a small passive board that is used to allow the model to work on a DC layout. When installing DDC or DCC Sound, you remove this small PCB first and replace it with either a basic DCC (non-sound) or a full DCC Sound decoder such as the Loksound 5. When you purchase the Loksound 5, it will contain all the DCC functionality you need and you will be installing it directly into the 21-pin socket.

I have Legomanbiffo on other locos alright. R&R recommended SWD sound for the 52 so I went with that.
