You need at least 3 days to get the full benefits of the park. You can spend a lot of time just soaking up the atmosphere and chilling. There is a good variety of food outlets and restaurants. Some of the kids' rides are a relaxing option. The shows are top quality and the diverse thrill coasters are phenomenal. Again, you need 3 days to get the most out of this place, and if you can manage 4, better still. 😎😉
I completely agree! I feel like we got a tiny preview of what the park has to offer but there was SO much that we missed. We definitely want to come back - especially to see the surrounding town and the water park!
Nice one! This is definitely a bucket list park! I've seen many vlogs about it, so i'm quite familiar with it and how i would tackle it. I'd probably skip Voletarium as the first ride, i know it's right by the entrance, but leave that for later. I'd first go to a ride where the queues will be longer later, like Silver Star. You can do Voletarium when you wanna do something more relaxed later in the day. And yeah, this is more of a three-day park if you want to see most things and have enough re-rides on your favorite attractions. Perhaps another day for Rulantica. The on-site hotels are excellent from all i've seen, but Rust also has tons of accommodation available. As for them copying Disney, yeah, they certainly started out like that. Most of the Disney-like stuff has historical reasons from when the Mack family started it in 1975 and building up the park in the earlier stages. They've been on a USA trip before and had the idea to showcase their fairground rides and rollercoasters in a big park, as they've been building vehicles for almost 250 years, circus rides for almost 150 years, and rollercoasters for over 100 years. The park was originally a literal park of a castle, Schloss Balthasar, which is still in there (it's the building where the statue of an old grandma sits on a bench). The park quickly became very popular, so they constantly expanded it and added new attractions, hotels and whatnot. And today, i think it's been voted the best theme park in the world nine times. From everything i've seen, yes, they started out as a bit of a shameless knock-off, but today they can easily rival (if not beat) Disney when it comes to theme parks. BTW, you can record on-ride footage in this park, the only requirement is a chest mount. But if you have a GoPro for example and use such a chest mount, they're totally fine with it. And one recommendation: Ten minutes (by car) up the road, in the next town above Rust, there is a great little park called "Funny-World Germany". This has a bunch of self-operated rides. Should you ever visit Europa-Park again for a couple days, you might wanna add that one as a little side-quest, just for 3-5 hours or so. You can look for vlogs on it, but you may want to keep it as a surprise for the most part.

This is incredibly informative! Thank you so much. We'll definitely check out Funny-World Germany next time we visit Rust! 😊

Hahaha, so we're both right! 😉
