The whole movie is cringeworthy but that keyboard performance sequence was for sure the absolute worst. The "music" was like the awful pre-programmed demo songs they put on Casio keyboards.
That is how I feel about the sequel, that whole movie is cringe. The 1st movie only has cringy moments

....We weren't even in competitions.
And a black, fingerless, fishnet glove.
Not even two of them,
just a single black fingerless fishnet glove on one arm.
That's a toe-curling moment for me when I look back on it.
I love that The Jonas Brothers recreated that scene in the limo! Also, why did they feel the need to make Kevin's character so stupid in the movie? He just had all these one-liners that weren't funny and made the poor guy look dumb. I'm not a massive Jonas Brothers fan, but I feel like he's the most "forgettable" one to a lot of people so that was just straight up rude to do him like that. Haha
very true. they did that to him in their Disney Show too. The only time he didn’t look dumb was when they guest starred on Hannah Montana cause they weren’t playing characters. But when everything was changed and created they make him look stupid.
It took advantage of how fans already saw him I kind of emphasized with him since I knew he was the least popular of the three brothers

Camp Rock wasn't at risk of closing down because it lost a few kids, it was because they lost a load of staff due to Camp Star paying them more

Honestly, although I've seen the movie a million times, I still find it so hard to watch when Tess exposes Mitchie's secret. I think the worst part is how much it hurt Mitchie's mother and Shane. :(

I can’t believe I’m actually defending her character here, but she did that because he was being an asshole. Regardless if his complaints were valid or not she is merely the kitchen staff not the higher up that makes the decisions one what’s being served so she isn’t the one needs to discuss this with and even then, there is a way to talk to someone about your problems In a mature and non-hostile manner. Shane was coming in hot over an issue that can easily be cleared up and solved within a day or 2. He was rude, condescending, and just overall an arrogant jerk. If anything Mitchie’s response was rather tame compared to what I would’ve said and done.
There was a scene where Shane is teaching some people to dance and stuff and then some guy falls and then whips out drum sticks and starts hitting them on the floor and Shane says smthg along the lines of "you're a drummer"
Jonas Brothers were the only ones to keep their dignity by not doing that ridiculous “dance” entrance

I was ten when the first one was released, and at least for me, one of the most amusing moments was the montage where Andy is delivering a secret to several people. In every occasion, he seems to approach each camper just as they are getting into playing-position for their respective instrument.

I'm not sure if most people remember this, or felt this but at this time in those years at that age, at least in America, music was absolutely huge It was like the popular thing, RUclips was just coming out everybody was learning to play an instrument, punk rock was massive so anything that had to do big or little with music I feel like got over exaggerated. Look in those few small years lemonade mouth, all the camp rocks, a lot of shows came out that were all about music
