Why try to become something at 147 now that all the best names at 147 are all gone. All the big names either moved up or retired. If you win the belts they will be against nobody's. Literally Terence Crawford had every belt and moved up to 154, so anyone you beat for the belt are not true champions. Why not move up to 154 now and try to fight for one of the belts Terence not fighting for while he already has a fight scheduled, then he would have to fight you to take the belt. Well I'm starting to understand this boxing shit now...
The goal is wait around and say the money they offer is not good enough, when the division is stale and you are the only option instead of Bud waiting around on you to accept what he offer he moves up a weight class. Then you knowing that he has his eyes on Canelo and will move up again to 160, you will stay at 147 fight basically bums, then rinse and repeat Bud gets all the belts you move up and say they not offering enough to accept the fight he moves up to 160 for a fight with Canelo while you fight basically a division Bud already cleared out for you. Ok do you guys really think Crawford moved up to be undisputed at 154?? No, he's looking for an easy low risk payday for prolly 10 million and wait to see if he can hit the jackpot. Nobody at 154 or 160 is a big name boxer nor much of a risk to beat Crawford at least at 154 at all like Boots Ennis is. Now at the same time, Bud wouldn't mind having 3 belts on his resume at 154 and maybe closer to a shot at Canelo for big money. Now considering Ryan Garcia won, don't think Bud isn't trying to get Garcia in the ring cause that is a much lower risk and higher reward then fighting Canelo. I dont think Garcia will risk it just like I don't think Garcia will fight Boots. The problem Crawford has is his age, and he's not selling PPV buys. His last fight vs Spence did half of what Tank did vs Garcia and that was the most anticipated fight in many years vs Spence for boxing fans and Bud wants to cash out before he's too old. Bud only will fight Boots if he can get prolly 25+ million. That fight won't sell and be a big PPV fight cause no casual people know either of them especially Boots. Now if a Saudi promoter can pay Terrance what he wants, Crawford may fight Boots if he thinks he can get as much as fighting Ryan Garcia or Canelo but I don't think that promoter will make money. Now for those who don't know Boots his very blue collar with his life. Super gym head, don't party, and is 31-0 28 ko's with never loosing a round. Ok so what right. Well this is why Crawford won't risk it vs Boots. Jaron is taller, bigger, faster handspeed, much better boxer from distance, jabs better, head movement better, hits as hard or prolly harder with both hands, great counterpuncher and can fight well inside. On paper, Boots has way better skills as an overall boxer. Literally. Bud not trying to fight Boots is similar to why Canelo won't fight Benavidez . It's not worth this risk. The difference between Canelo vs Crawford is that Canelo been getting 30 million a fight vs anybody unlike Bud.
