It's just sad that they lose such an important character to evil like that. Still I think its a cool figure. I always look forward to your MOTUC reviews.
The Four Horsemen have been sneaking 200X features into MOTUC ever since Scott Neitlich announced "nuh-uh, no more 200X... it's been retired!" - a bit of a mini rebellion on 4H's part! :)
I love this figure it feels both 200x and Vintage Man-at-Arms.
I love the regular head with the Snake body. That´s my plan for this figure.
If more people, both young and old, watched SESAME STREET the world wouldn't be such a mean place right now!
Captain Pixel, you're (again) killing my sleep schedule! This Man-At-Arms is not what I remember, but my box-set should explain all. Great face! Sucks Duncan died (bad move- has he been restored to human yet?). It's a point of debate. We'd all buy one for $8-10, but $30 + absurd (now dead! Yay!) Matty's pricing w/subscription means a collector shouldn't pay more than $20, tops, for any but Giants like Granymyr. Mattel left a hundred or more Of some chick figure nobody wanted on store shelves. Stores didn't order more cuz they were still selling off the D.C. Woman. Mattel is willing to put D.C. Classics on store shelves (most sold slowwww) but no MOTU. We both, we all know that was a big Mis-step by all involved. Plus the D.C. Line was weak-jointed and full of Nobodies. Superman wasn't Super at all. I bought the TRU 2-packs of He-Man/Lex, Skeletor/Supes just for the MOTU and gave the limp-limbed DC duds away. At a comic con I saw the Aquaman (biggest punching-bag in all Comicdom) with a very Blue Mer-Man. Blue? That was another sad choice. Nobody wants a blue Med-Man. Or any Aquaman.
I love your videos, you do a great job- unlike so many "unboxing" reviews, you have a format and basically a script you follow, which is much appreciated compared to "I opened the box and...winging it when it should be methodical as your reviews became after the first few. You use a template/outline, many don't, thank you for that!
Finally Duncan's loin cloth and the boot are in brown color, like his vintage toy, Filmation cartoon AND MYP cartoon!!! They made them right this time!!! Why they didn't do this with the first Man-at-Arms release...? Why does the regular Man-at-Arms MOTUC have dark-green loin cloth and boots...?...
Hey Dan I have a question is it possible to remove the right arm/non armored & replace it with the original Man-at-arms one? If I could do that along with swapping the mustached Duncan head to that body it'd be the perfect Man at arms in my eyes.
I kinda wish they gave his left leg a "monster foot" instead of a boot. It would push this to 11, imho.
Considering part of the design of this figure was to give people who wanted in a base for a 200X style Man-at-Arms, I think the basic boot was probably a better choice.
Hey Dan, I got my Snake Man-At-Arms in, and I love the paint detail on the armor. The metalic looking bolts and details rock.
I did notice though that the Head from the original man at arms has less helmet detail than the snake one. Do you know if they will be releasing a updated manatarms face with the updated helmet? Great Review by the way.
because the original style, as the all original concept about classics, was intended to take fully ispirtion from the original 80s toys crd backs. for the same reason a lot of the fans demand an orange/red ram-man as shown on the original card. a lot of people forget or simply dont know about it. and that is kind of good because it shows how the line get bigger and evolve from the original thinking. it is also bloody sad cause im fearing a red/green ram man.
Duncan's storyline sounds a bit like Darth Vader, who was killed in Return of the Jedi, but not before momentarily regaining his humanity as Anakin Skywalker.

Toyfair magazine once made a Snake Teela figure, but if your talking about the Masters of the Universe Classics line then no, no they haven't.
You mention that the arm cannon is coming out. When and where?
Where can I find the masters of the universe collectibles at an affordable price?? The classics and retro went up in price quite a bit

Since Man at Arms know Adam and He Man are one and the same, Did he tell that secret to King Hsss or other villians????
Since they plan on releaseing Man-at-Arms Blue Cannon does this mean we might also be getting Draego-Man Shiled & Whip that he was originally but didn't?
Any word on Future Snake-Men Figures (General Rattler or maybe ever a Snake Teela lol)
& though this line is more about Vintage with some 20xx characters thrown in but will there be any other 20xx Varients of other characters like Man-at-Arms & did with Evil-Lyn (like He-Man & Teela or even the Sorceress)
I am writing in behalf of my grandson, Anthony. He feels he should have the RAM MAN action figure because it's his first Master of the Universe classic figure. He doesn't have any and would really like one. So please pick him.

After reading the comments and the review yes they reuse parts from previous figures but when i went to matty collector i was able to buy horde prime but i couldn't buy snake man at arms it had sold out so this went quicker than horde prime and sold out in less than a day. So i think the sales speak for them selves :)
Pixel Dan always gives great reviews. This one is no exception. I will say, though, that I HATE the idea of Man-at-Arms becoming a villain. That is terrible and an unnecessarily tragic storyline. Personally, I think some of these Mattel or 200x story lines suck (Mighty Spector's for instance). This is one of 'em. However, it is a good fig to pick up if you want Duncan to look like his 200x counterpart as Toy Guru pointed out on a web-pod.

I would definitely swap the heads. The Snake MAA should look more primitive than the human.

Dan did you see the back of the white mailer for Horde Prime & Snake M-A-A?? Whats up with the names ( Castaspella ,Clamp Champ & Sweet bee ) Was that a hint from matty's of whats to come?

probably the 200x sorceress with be produced with an escamotage giving Veena (on the 2nd mini-comic) the 200x sorceress style.

Cool review, as always, but I'm not sold on the figure. The concept just irks me... MAA doesn't die in my universe, in fact nobody does. Guess because I favour the Filmation continuity.
Think this one will have to go in my 'spares' drawer, or be some sort of "Snake Infiltrator"... he's absolutely NOT Man At Arms.

I really hate this figure. Its "not" really Snake-Man-at-Arms...Its 200X Man-at-Arms with a Snake Head. Its - to me - no better than what they were going to do just release a snake head on the original MaA. If they were going in this direction for this character with the "Classics" treatment, I would have liked to have seen no techno parts - just scaley arms and legs. This is a fail. Its just an excuse to give 200X fans a version of MaA they are clammering for. Fail.

Love the MOTU Classics figures, and getting into them real late, but this is just a ridiculous, cash grab of a repaint.
