My GF and I visited Taiwan (Taipei and Kaohsiung) in November of 2019 for just under a month. We loved the country and it's scenery, and have contemplated moving to TW in the next few years. Kaohsiung was definitely cheaper but always felt like a "working" town compared to the cosmopolis of Taipei. We were thinking of moving to a location close to the HSR so we can getaway to Taipei on the weekend if desired, and save on other expenses. Thoughts on that idea?
Can you visit Shopping malls in China. ( The world biggest and beautiful Shopping malls are situated in China) . For example grand view mall in Guangzhou (China).
I wonder how many times you said 'Taiwanese Dollars' .. As you are in Taiwan couldn't you have just said dollars, or even TD's. A great video like your previous trips. It must be nice just to travel and film. have you ever had problems regarding safety on your travels ? Years ago I travelled throughout Southern Africa and enjoyed the freedom, but marriage and kids put an end to all that.
I'm sorry, Patrick; I've been off of the internet as a personal decision more. This is personal, and, so I haven't been seeing your videos and you might have wondered where I was. Well, I'm watching this one! I didn't know Taiwan was so cheap; I guess I confused it with HONG KONG! You seem open to trying foods. I think it's impressive that you learned some Chinese.
Hi Patrick, could you please tell me the name of the 2 Apps you are using? I mean the one you use for calculating the local currency in US$ and the other you used in China where you scanned with your camera the Chinese letters and you saw the translation into English on your screen? Thank you 🙏 very much
HEY PATRICK, VERY INTERESTING VIDEO. THE EXCHANGE RATE IS ABOUT THE SAME AS THAILAND BUT I THINK THAILAND IS JUST A LITTLE BETTER. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO EXPERIENCE YOUR CITY NEXT YEAR WHEN I COME TO TAIWAN NEXT SPRING. HOPING YOU CAN GIVE ME SOME INFORMATION ABOUT CHINA BECAUSE I WILL BE SPENDING ABOUT A MONTH THERE. I JUST MADE A CONNECTION WITH A CHINESE MAN THAT IS IN AMERICA GOING TO SCHOOL. I HAVE MOVIES OF CHINA IN THE 30'S THAT MY DAD TOOK. HE WAS IN THE NAVY AND SPENT 6 YEARS IN CHINA. KNOWING MY DAD I PROBABLY HAVE A COUPLE OF BROTHERS OR SISTERS IN CHINA. LOL
i want to live there maybe. it seesm perfect. midpoint of asia/se asia. inexpensive. culture. food. modern. oceans. mountains. seems real good. what u think?
I think you rent a very expensive house in here。IF you include any taxes all in, yes i could agree. But including any others, I sugessted you to move to other place. Taipei is a nice city even thought the very frienddly ship. Wish you have a nice weekend in Taiwan.
After watching all these amazing videos about Taiwan I want to go there more and more... I just wonder.. if to explore Taiwan (Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung and some other places) for 20-21 days, is $1500 enough for it? (Accommodation doesn't count)
This video has helped me a lot! Thanks

Hey, where are you son? You can't give up on RUclips now. The first 20 000 is the hardest, and you've done that.
If you add a Chinese translation to your video, you will increase a lot of fans
Patrick! Are you alright?? I'm concerned!!
Mark
Hi great video for real travelers.
If I intend spending a week in Taiwan which are the best places I need to stay.

I used Google translate in China and I use a currency app. There are many currency apps out there to choose from. Both are free to download.
Thank you 🙏
And what is the name of the currency app you are currently using?

Definitely more than enough. Just don't always take the high speed train to different cities. They are crazy fast but relatively more expensive.
@@jfyhou of course not) I only wanted to go by high speed train from Kaohsiung to Taipei just to try) and to use buses or usual trains between cities
Does anybody know what happened to Patrick?? Patmax?
Is Taipei your favorite city?
Keep on hard working
