Welcome to Hong Kong!! ^^ Thanks for showing us around the city w this vlog~~ Sour and sweet pork is one of my absolute favourites and it was so cool seeing you guys explore the city !!
Hong Kong is the 3rd finance capital in the world and there are almost 1 million expats living there. It's very international and is actually the most visited city on earth. Kinda strange seeing someone's first impression of it as if it is some newly discovered city, when it is just another NYC and London with tens of millions of people visiting it each year.
I understand all of that but for us we enjoyed the surprise and the element of we didn’t know what to fully expect. It was a change for us which was good
Did you visit the hidden, world famous RLD?? (( bet not )) Biggest mistake budget travels make, specially to Hong Kong and Tokyo is they overpay on hotels. Your calling this budget. How much on hotel?? Absolutely will be shocked if it’s under $$$$60US. If I am correct then your overpaid. Absolutely Outstanding
I think our accommodation was maybe $20 dollars, sorry to disappoint but we don’t have that money to blow on hotels when we are travelling to see and experience. Would much rather keep the money from expensive accommodation and put it towards something we will truly remember and appreciate
Let's explore racial diversity in Hong Kong. I noticed all CHINESE working in the shops . Where is the workplace racial diversity? Racism and discrimination against foreigners is a big problem in Hong Kong. Talk to the domestic helpers about the mistreatment and abuse they receive from the CHINESE employers.
We were so surprised by the amount of Filipino women we seen on Sundays, their day off. They all were enjoying the day in big groups and looked so happy
How many Filipinos did you see working in banks, retail stores and other fields. Filipinos receive daily abuse from the CHINESE employers. They are happy to get away from them. Imagine having a curfew put on you as an adult. They endure physical and verbal abuse from the Chinese employers. I should do a response video to yours to highlight the problem with ignorant people. @@EoinandAisling
Censorship and deletion of comments is a good way to have response video made about you. Freedom of speech is an important part of exposing human rights abuses. Is this another woke bubble channel. Hong Kong is a city well known for the exploitation and abuse of Indonesian and Filipino domestic helpers. They go to parks to escape their abusive CHINESE bosses. These are extremely vulnerable people. Do you want to work 6 days a week and 14 hours a day for less than $700 USD a month plus give up all your privacy.
No I wouldn’t want that life at all, it shocked us seeing the huge groups of women. And despite whatever situation they are in, they were so happy and cheerful when together

4:03 not too bad , 5 bananas for HKD$10,000 (around USD1280), you’re right HongKong is an expensive city.😂 just kidding.
