Bach wrote many forgettable works because he hardly ever took a day off. Hardly HALF of his total output is performed today. Fortunately for all of mankind that small percentage is unparalleled in it's beauty and intricacy. No composer since has dared to compete with the Father of Western music.

Bach's music has been a constant in most of my 80 years. Thank you for this selection. It brought back many memories, some happy, some very sad. He really was the composer for all ages in my opinion. I felt for the pianist in some of the keyboard concerti- from memory they were very challenging to play accurately at speed. Sir Andreas Schiff with his lighter, crisper touch would be an excellent model to follow in this.
Bach has been my companion through all my life as well. I can always count on his music for every significant emotion i have gone through in life. - I recommend going to the yearly Bach Festival in Leipzig
One cannot help but marvel at the depth of expression found within Bach's music. In his compositions, we find an amalgamation of intellectual rigor and heartfelt emotion, a union that transcends mere technicality and touches the very essence of the human soul. Each note, carefully placed, carries with it an inherent significance, as if Bach were a musical alchemist, turning sound into emotion and emotion into sound.

In 2006, I had contact with Bach' Music by listening the "Best Bach 100" collection. I was so delighted that 15 years later I keep listening to Bach every day, religiously. Bach is an extraterrestrial! Bach isn't of this world!!!
My musician friend always asks me if I've been listening to Bach lately? He plays Oboe and Piano. He used to play at my father's classical music festivals. I was the only audience member. That was better than Opera, where the whole Orchestra hits you!

As a guitarist I've always loved so much how so many Bach pieces have been transcribed and performed by classical guitarist however it's so great to hear the strings again for this recording! The tone of the cello is soap and spiritually soothing

Bach's music has been a constant in most of my 80 years. Thank you for this selection. It brought back many memories, some happy, some very sad. He really was the composer for all ages in my opinion. I felt for the pianist in some of the keyboard concerti- from memory they were very challenging to play accurately at speed. Sir Andreas Schiff with his lighter, crisper touch would be an excellent model to follow in this.

Bach has been my companion through all my life as well. I can always count on his music for every significant emotion i have gone through in life. - I recommend going to the yearly Bach Festival in Leipzig

My musician friend always asks me if I've been listening to Bach lately? He plays Oboe and Piano. He used to play at my father's classical music festivals. I was the only audience member. That was better than Opera, where the whole Orchestra hits you!

Bach and Vivaldi are my two favorite composers...their compositions are delightful. Every time I'm not well, I listen their music and it helps me to be relieved. I really don't understand why so many people doesn't like this kind of music.

"Всего" Баха переслушать очень просто :-) Достаточно запастись порядка 150 часов и слушать, слушать, слушать :-)
Есть как минимум две коллекции "Весь Бах" в разных исполнениях (это действительно весь Бах, без кавычек - полное собрание), время от времени переслушиваю - у меня обе :-)

All due respect to the people who changed the world with their inventions or those who changed through their fight for different social causes, but I still believe that nothing justifies the existence of this world that we are living in more than its beauty, and Bach gave it more beauty than anyone.
For me.. almost, but it is Jesus Christ. I mean, Bach wrote all these pieces for the glory of God being that he was.. a man of faith.

As a guitarist I've always loved so much how so many Bach pieces have been transcribed and performed by classical guitarist however it's so great to hear the strings again for this recording! The tone of the cello is soap and spiritually soothing

What incredible genius displayed by Maestro Bach. It will be one of many joys to meet the man in the Paradise earth soon to come when he is resurrected back to life reflected in Acts 24:15.
