River Talk - Day 4
Are you afraid of water?
When I was young I was terribly afraid of being in water. In middle school I overcame enough to go tubing down the Delaware River! It took a lot of courage.

There is an annual Jewish feast called the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. Go google this. Cool harvest festival!
The Jews reenacted the vision from Ezekiel longing for the Spirit of God to come like a river.
The presence of God to comes like the vision
Last day of the featival Jesus calls out an invitation
That invitation is for you…in your pain and suffering, in your feelings of hopelessness, or aloneness, Jesus invites you to jump into the river of his Spirit and swim in the flow of God’s love and mercy and help…swim in his presence.
That’s what this song is all about!
Question: what keeps you from jumping into the River? What keeps you from believing in God’s message of hope for you? Its real. And he longs for you to come closer to him.
I say, jump in! The water feels so good.😊
