Great technique. Tried it on illinois river and caught multiple species. Thank you

We were working sharp break lines and keeping the boat speed to a crawl. We fished as slow as possible and let the minnow do the work. We used a drift sock as the day progressed to keep our speed down as the breeze picked up. We kept the weight vertical and typically held the weight off the bottom and just made periodic contact. Thanks for watching.

Nice video! Too bad you didn`t tell anything about troll speed or using drift sockets. Also how far do you use the sinker above the bottom or do you just drag it on the bottom?

The video is titled "Rigging chubs for Big Walleyes". 5 minutes into it, and still nothing about how to rig chubs for big walleyes.

Why did you cut the line so quick? I would have used some pliers to get the hook out of that fish's mouth. Takes less than a minute.

Depends on the situation. If the hook is in the stomach or near the gills, we prefer to cut the line and let the hook rust out.
