I tried the summer Fridays from a friend and the taste was disgusting. I love how the Rhode lip tint has a blurring/filter effect and feels so good on my lips
The problem with rhode is if you have a nut allergy you can’t use these. Cause they use tree nut oil in them and you can have an allergic reaction. Summer Fridays what I e read on packaging doesn’t . Rhode customers serves is not the best to deal with if you have a problem. I did want to get the Rhode Strawberry glaze donut gloss but ever time I got the notice it was in stock I go to order it it was out of stock and that was within minutes of getting the notice so their supply and demand not meeting up either.
I probably won’t make a full follow up video, but what I will say is that summer Fridays is longer lasting for me. Another rhode lip peptide got griddy too, but it went back to normal after I put them in hot water. Rhode is preferred as a gloss imo and summer Fridays is better for helping chapped lips!
8:15 I’ve tried Laneige, summer Fridays and rhode but rhode is so sticky and I did not like the consistency at all. Too sticky for my liking. However I’m recently obsessed with summer Fridays. They’re so soft on the lips and moisturising. I’m trying the vanilla beige scent overnight today. Laneige is only good with the sleeping masks in ex formula. Their lip balms however even though I bought all scents aren’t as good or anywhere near summer fridays. Regret buying all so quickly. Summer Fridays packaging is also beautiful. So minimal yet stylish. Let’s see how the summer fridays do overnight !
They are definitely glossy balms! If you don’t care about the glossy aspect, I swear by the Fresh Sugar Intensive Therapy lip balm or Aquaphor for an affordable option!

From using both for quite awhile, I feel like summer Fridays lasts longer because it’s a bit thicker!
