Trying to validate the poor kid
I literally can’t stand it when children are bullied. This needs to be addressed with the entire class. There are many books a teacher can read and discuss with her students. Children need to role play and discuss how bullies don’t feel good about themselves. Many times they just need a friend. The bully needs to be confronted. Never tell your child just to ignore it because words hurt and it will affect their self esteem for years. Your children are so talented and sweet. I hate this for them.🙏🏻❤️
It's racial hate crime not bullying.
The racist child who racially abuse the Biracial child, did it, strictly because the Biracial child is 50% African.
If he was a Biracial child of part white and part Japanese, Chinese, Persian, Syrian or Lebanese, he wouldn't racially abuse him.

Mum, they are not friends. Unfortunately this is a canon event for a lot of little our black babies. Please make a report to his school/teacher - this is unacceptable and he should be able to feel comfortable at school not worrying about these kinds of situations. Although you cannot control what comes out of children’s mouths it will give him comfort knowing you have escalated the matter and hopefully those kids will not only be educated around the unacceptability of the word but also do not address him as it.

Loved how they were all involved! Her heart is definitely with gymnastics! She’s good at all that she does. No doubt gymnastics is her thing 🎉 we are cheering you on beautiful Adanna! High school is 4 years of your life- the best parts of life are yet to come. Choose the place that gives you the opportunity to leave and be at gymnastics. I am glad you have had a good experience and High School is so far so good! Both my girls were bullied and one of them it was a complete nightmare- she will never say she loved high school.
As for Ari it melts my heart and eyes to tears. It’s definitely not just bullying it’s racial and the kids doing it need to be talked to by the principal and it needs to be followed up. Ari is such a sweet boy ❤

Please, tell your children not to call a bully a friend. They need to stand up to bullies or it escalates. Please, speak to the school staff. They shouldn’t be told to just ignore it? Bullying is why good kids do bad things.

Gymnastics & cheer are great activities. Please remember your ultimate goal is to get an excellent education to prepare you for your future, your goals, and your career. I wish you the best no matter which school you choose. Look at the college acceptance rate of each school. Talk to students and graduates from both schools too, if possible.

Could Adanna shadow at school "B" for a day? That may help her in making a decision. Ari broke my heart when he spoke about bullying/name calling. All he needs to know is that he is beautiful,kind, smart- and he should be proud to be who he is! That bully is not his friend, but someone with low self esteem who gets joy from hurting others. The teacher absolutely needs imformed, as well as the Principal. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy in effect regarding bullying.

My heart aches so much for Ari. I know kids grow and mature, but I really miss the light that Ari used to have. It’s still there, but it feels like it has dimmed so much since the divorce. It seems to have impacted him so much more than the other kids. And now combined with the flippin fact that we are now living in times where some people think it’s acceptable to be openly racist again it absolutely breaks my heart and makes me sick to my stomach. Shame on Alex for not being there to help guide them through this! Angers me so much!
Look to see the classes that they offer. Does one school offer classes that you want that the other doesn't. Also if you are going to College, what are the stats from one school to another.

Adana go to school B. True friends stay even if you change schools. You have such a crush on school B. And please stick to gymnastik. You are so talented.
Definitely include God! I love the pros and cons idea, too. We involved our kids in the decision of where to go to achool during Covid (there were multuple options) and later on when they started high school. All 3 of them came back with the same answer in the 1st situation. The secind situation was interesting because they each hit it as they got to high school. The oldest felt that the school he was assigned to was the one he should go to, even though all his friends went to the other high school in the district. It was interesting becaus one was rumored to be better at sports and the other is better for drama and music. My kiddos are not sports fanatics and I was super impressed with the music performance of the other school. I wanted them to go to the other school. We all felt they should go to the sports one. They have loved it and never looked back.

Man all the children goes to the same school because it's kindergarten through eighth grade. Why so complicated? I'm fifty seven and still the school's has kindergarten through eighth grade

N my sweet Ari I’m so sorry that people are mean to you and hurt you! When I was a little girl and that happened to me, my mother told me this little saying “ Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never harm me”! And they never have Ari all my life.
