i’ve been grinding ranked lately. my hope is to end the season on plat 3 but if i get diamond that would be great too. my peak right now is 1756 so i’ve gotten close to where i want to end. i think i can hit diamond i just need to work on killing and being confident in my gauntlets

I like ya man but we disagree on the weapon “honor” rule. Seems pretty presumptuous to expect a random person to give advantage away in a game in any capacity much less ranked mode
Jesse Berger Well when you see a person taunt immediately the least you could do is taunt back and wait until both of you have weapons. And like he said it's not because you got that "advantage" that you're gonna win. I mean I wouldn't blame them like he did but I do agree with him.
Meadow at his level and higher, any amount of damage lead is very important. Fighting for neutral ground is part of the start of the game and if you want to *attempt* to avoid that part because you personally don’t like it, that’s cool but don’t get mad when other people don’t play like that.
Jesse Berger For your first point i can't say I agree too much. Although he's diamond he's no where near a top level where it's that important. And secondly , yeah weapon starving is a part of the game. But what he means by fair, at least how i do it is both get a weapon then i play normally. Weapon starving after that first weapon isnt a problem because the game has already "started". But lastly what I wanna say is these "rules" are only meant to show some "fair-play spirit" to your opponent. No one is forced to play by them that's why I think he's being unreasonable by asking for that. Most of the time I play normally but when I see someone taunt at the start, I taunt back and let him get a weapon. When they don't then we have a classic fight.
