- It's been a few years since I've made it out to Spider Mountain. But ,in today's adventure, I make up for lost time by shredding some of my favorite trails and riding the new trail " Cedar Fever". I met up with my old trail homie David and had a blast chasing him down the mountain for several laps. I even got a bit carried away on Viper's Den and took one of my gnarliest spills to date. Overall, I had a blast shredding the downhill lines at Spider mountain and I'm glad you guys joined me for this one.

I had a huge crash on lower Vipers Den at speed at that same spot that ejected me off the trail and into a cedar tree... it was very similar to yours, except I was going faster and landed partway up a cedar tree. I just don’t think going high and trying to square off those ledges works, or maybe it’s a personal LOFT problem... I hung there for a while after and basically everyone that came by, took the low line on the right side of the trail. They go right of that crooked tree just as you enter the rock ledges.
I hear that spot has claimed many victims. I definitely stick to the low line nowadays. Hope you were ok after that crash 🤟
@@ChenzosWorld Yeah, just some scrapes and a bruised ego. I actually think the tree I landed in saved me from getting banged up worse.
yeah i ride hardtail at spider mountain and those quick ledges right there scare the shit out of me. def gotta take that right of the tree
