Super insightful. I'm right handed and right eye dominant and have been standing a bit more open for a while as seemed more comfortable when lining up a putt. I have always loved mallet putters and recently been gaming a new RUNNER putter with moveable weights which has been great for my game.
At 11:12 I didn't quite catch what you meant with respect to toe hang for a right eye dominant player. You both agreed on what you meant, but I didn't follow. Were you saying that right eye dominant players need more toe hang? Just putting that with the context you said before about left eye dominant tour players can tend to pick whatever they want.
I always hated lines on my ball and putter because they always made me go against my instincts or feel for the line. They always seemed off. I'm a right eye dominant like you, Trottie. I also don't like a lot of offset in a putter because I feel like it blocks the vision of the ball at address. A year ago I switched to a Jason Day short slant Red Spider tour with no aiming aids and my putting has never been better.
That's exactly where Duane wants me to go but I just like the armlock, but totally relatable with the no offset and slight toe hang. I've seen it in my game and experienced it with the best in the world too
@@trottiegolf also I've always why I default to slightly open putting stance and it never made sense until Duane was talking about it. Amazing content as always!
@@Adam-eats I think this is the best combo. From what I've seen on tour. Day, Fitz, Lowry, all use different toe hangs but are left eye right handed, I think that's the perfect combo
@@trottiegolf correct me if I’m wrong, but as a left eye, right handed putter myself, getting your left eye on top of the ball or just inside and behind (use a mirror) and think Cam Smith
Like you my left eye is useless, scar on the retina so massively right eye, right hand dominant. Soon as I put a line on the ball and stand over it the appearance is aiming way left. Still searching … keep up the great vids !
@@trottiegolf right eye dominant golfing righty I only see the line straight if I set my eyes two balls inside. If I line up lefty now with my lead eye as the dominant one I see the line so easy.

Yes right eye dominant we think tends to result in a fraction more toe hang
Thanks for the great tips Trottie

If you’re right handed but left eye dominant. Are there any specific tips?
This is me too. I think it messes with my alignment big time

Yea lines ruin me too
Tiger and Jack are interestingly left eye dominant.
I'm telling you it's the best for right handed golfers

Left hand low and open stance money
James Wiltshire is looking for a brand partnership!!! Hook him up !!! ❤
Should probably just get a lab putter 😂
Certainly an interesting concept
