I did not see that option, but maybe. When you turn the display off it seems to turn it all off and becomes just a mirror. The cameras are always running and recording even if the mirror is off.
This dashcam does not have WiFi so you have to take the sd card out and upload videos to laptop. But how do you email the videos as the attachment is too large or how do you download videos to your phone?
I let them loop and would only download them if I needed them for something like an accident. Videos are usually too large to email, so you put them on something like Google Drive and send the link.

Does it record in dual view
It records in front and back both at the same time, but it will be different videos. It does not put both views in one video.

Mine has wifi but only connects to their app.
The P12 Pro Max does have WiFi. You most likely have the P12 Pro which does not have WiFi.
