I had an older brother like that. After he got married things changed so much. Fast forward a bunch of years, the day my mom passed away things got worse with him. We lived about half a mile away from each other yet he only came to my house about 5 times in 4 yrs, not for a visit but for legal issues dealing with inheritance. No, I couldn't visit him because I was banned from his house, his wife was mad at me. I moved away 3 yrs ago, he never calls, I call him for birthdays and holidays. I mourn my brother, I don't know the person he's become.
