Pay attention to the cremation urns in the catacombs. I think the catacombs were there before the golden order or the erd tree. They were burned in ghost flame and placed in the urns during the dragon age.
I like the idea you bring up about the Helphen and its possible role in the DLC. I hope they explain things like that more. Also, has anyone mentioned Enzo kinda looks like a mini puma with pointed ears?

I havent been able to find any theories as to why there are tons of dead Finger Reader Crones in the Erd Tree Sanctuaty where you fight ghost Godfry. Anyone have any theories?
