Hi there! AMAZING work!! I recently discovered Vantage and watching this make me wanna try to replicate the moving trees and courtains but can't make it work with physics or forest plugin. Is there a way to make it? Please help me :)
Thank you. about your issues, you need to use Live Link to render Animation in Chaos Vantage. Only this way supports full features from 3dsmax & V-Ray. If you'r rendering without using Live Link, Vantage has not supported animated mesh yet at present. Hope this answer help you.
Hello there, Lovely rendering! It would be of great help if you could solve my query. Are there any specific modifiers in 3ds max which work for curtain animation in Vantage. I have a curtain animation, cloth modifier animated using dummy, it is not rendering in vantage. Live linking shows the curtain animating in timeline but sequence renders are still. Any solution? Thanks in advance in anticipation. cheers
sorry for late respond . When using live-link, you must render Animation to review your result. In the animation timeline, you must click the refresh button to review the result of other frames, but you can not review the animation without rendering animation by live link.
in my case, when the render seqeunce, the source of liquid didn't animate. what is your setting for phoenix FD when you send it to vantage? can you help me?
@@mxmillo the resolution is full HD 1920x1080 px. The setting includes GI 4 bounces, Reflection & Refraction 8 bounces, Sample about 200-2000 samples, depend on every shot

I think you missed sth from documentary from Chaos. I cant find your issue without opening 3d files. You should find how to solve from their doc.

You must use the Live link and Phoenix Objects need to be added " editable mesh". Hope that can help you.
