What an ugly language and construction of sentences Richard Powers uses. I absolutely hated this book.
You're not wrong. The more I read it, the less I like it. Things are supposed to move in the other direction for Pulitzer Prize winners. I don't hate it, but there are aspects of the book that are just plain dumb.
