Our last breath here on earth is our FIRST breath with our FATHER GOD. Thank you for remembering the Lives of these past residents. your friend, Louise

I have loved to walk graveyards since I was 6-7 yes old and I know it is because of graveyards like this....a big shout out to you for mentioning my part of Appalachia. Lee county,Pennington Gap. Our family cemetery is 6 generations .... A lot of rocks where babies were put. I am not sure if I have thanked the Good Lord for making me be born Appalachian .... I thank you Mr Donnie for the tours and stories. Can't get enough of them. 😊😊😊
What makes cemeteries so special is studying the lives of ancestors, then viewing their final resting place. I cannot help but imagine the sadness that once surrounded these places of rest, now sometimes left with not even so much as a flower to show love and respect. One such small cemetery was on a hillside above the lumber camp where my grandad was foreman for years. Not even a name on the stones to show who was buried there in the early 1900’s. RIP forgotten ones.
All those souls waiting for the coming of the Lord they maybe have been forgotten by the world but God knows where they are I'm at the age that is soon to be just like those you have shown. This video is exactly what I needed this morning and I thank you for it
How lovely to be spiritually and visually transported to such beautiful places where the trials and tribulations of the pioneers & ancestors are long since forgotten. Thank you Donny for another little Gem ⭐️
Beautiful video...thank you for sharing. I am a volunteer for Find-A-Grave and I help others by locating graves and taking photos of headstones for their loved ones. Visiting the old graveyards is a tranquil and enjoyable time -- the headstones are a final tribute to those whose lives came before our own.
Thank you Donnie, for taking your viewers on a road trip to honor the love ones of past generations. So much history to remember and respect at each gravesite. I'm thankful that God knows and remembers each person even those without a grave marker . Many thanks, God bless and have a blessed weekend.
Thank you for visiting these historic cemetarys and sharing your experiences. God bless our beloved pioneers who made this country. May they rest in peace.
I very much enjoy visiting old cemeteries to try to imagine how life may have been for them. So, I appreciate your videos in these old cemeteries. I think we, our generation, are the last ones that memories of these folks who bore such hardships as settlers and their offsprings. Thank you, Donnie. God bless you, sir.
Oh Mr Laws! Thank you so much for documenting and remembering & sharing these beautiful cemeteries & memories with us!! So sad to see so many people forgotten over time. I’m of the mindset that the younger generation need to be taught to maintain & respect & remember their ancestors and try to keep their grave sites maintained from generation to generation. So many young people today don’t have a clue who their ancestors are. I love walking through our cemetery here & just reading the names etc. I always brings extra flowers so when I visit my friends graves, I can put flowers on another’s grave that looks forgotten. Unfortunately, due to numerous health issues this year, I’ve yet to go visit. Blessings always! ❤️✝️
It's wonderful to see the old cemeteries well-maintained, Donnie. We should all revere our ancestors, who came to this wild land and carved out a life. God bless you, my friend.🙏❤️
I find cemeteries, especially old ones, fascinating. So heartbreaking to see the graves of children. Makes me appreciate the chance I have had at life that these poor little souls never got to experience. May God bless them all.
When I was in the 5th grade, there was a very old and spooky cemetery, very narrow and very long. Our teacher put us into groups of four, and for several days, we would wander the cemetery looking for headstones of four persons or more. Then we would write a story about the people we chose, from birth to death. The stories were fiction , but each group was absolutely fascinating! I remember that my groups story was 16 pages long. We had a wonderful teacher.
This is in my element...graveyards especially old ones are very interesting, I just wish they had the upkeep I do with our family graves but I worry who will take care of them when Im gone, todays generation dont seem to care about...cremation is looking good so far...Thanks Mr. Laws have a blessed day and weekend...👻🎃🍁🍂
Thank you Donnie.....call me crazy but I find cemeteries very facinating....I have walked many just reading and trying to imagine the people's lives.....❤

Sad part is Donnie that people just don't go to cemeteries anymore. On decoration day like they used to. I guess they got too busy. To remember their people.
Hi Donnie, Enjoyed your very respectful visitation path on the graveyards✅👍❣️Now for future visits beings there’s chiggers, using peppermint oil, small extract, good for tea and other things,in the case of chiggers keep a small bottle with q-tips or cotton swabs, and slightly dip one into a bottle of peppermint, and apply to chiggered areas, but always cover up wearing sleeves and keep legs covered also. And wash hands, and dry off,so no peppermint gets near eyes 👀👍💯👏
I used spray anytime I'm in back country, these was some mean chiggers In all my life I have never had them this bad. Thanks for sharing this my friend. God bless you.
Donnie, I live in Kentucky. I love your channel! It is awesome! Keep up the great work. Someday your channel will be the best record of the past. Love it!
Thank you for another great history lesson Donnie! I love to visit old cemeteries and pay my respects to those who came before me. I love to see old ones that are well taken care of but I know that not all of them can be. Families die off or move on, churches build new buildings, there are so many reasons why and none are actually to blame as their reasons are good. I 'm glad that you're documenting these so people don't forget. Time takes its toll on all things. We are fortunate that God never forgets! May he bless you and yours!
These old places hold a lot of secrets. I use to find these old cemeteries all over ft knox reservation when i was a youngster squirel hunting. I use to set and think about the people burried there for hours at a time before moving along. Thanks Brutha Donnie for sharring. ❤❤
Howdy Donnie- thank you for sharing this. You’re right, there’s a lot of history there. Waiting for cooler weather to go to a cemetery close to me that I’m pretty sure the family who homestesded our farm is buried. Hope you have a great weekend. God bless

Your very welcome my friend.
Awesome my friend. Thank you for sharing this. God bless you.
These old places hold a lot of secrets. I use to find these old cemeteries all over ft knox reservation when i was a youngster squirel hunting. I use to set and think about the people burried there for hours at a time before moving along. Thanks Brutha Donnie for sharring. ❤❤

Good evening Donnie Laws thanks for doing this video I took like going to all the old cemeterys I usually buy some flowers from Dollar tree and put them on the ones that haven't had any one put flowers on their graves in a long time it's my way of paying respect to the past . I was right I was coming down sick and I've been sick the past week out cutting grass today even if I'm feeling rough it won't get done unless I do it. Hope you have a great weekend my friend ❤️🙏
That's so kind of you my friend. Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Please take care my friend.
@@donnielaws7020 your welcome my friend I just wish that I could do more for them. Like new grave stones for the ones where they are fading out. Maybe one day. One can always hope. Have a blessed evening ✨.
