Okay so when I was younger I went to church with a genuine article from World War II. His name was John Vella and he parachuted down in a large majority of major battles. I got to hear of some of these situations such as when he parachuted down into the battle of the bulge. However, my focus today is on an unknown history fact he told me about I find quite unique.
Now a fair amount of soldiers on the United States side of the war had managed to come back home after reaching Australia and one specific thing they did was to toss a pair of pink underwear towards the woman they want to marry.
