    I must've re-read Gadamer's chapter on "Play" many times. It's just so brilliant, even captivating to the point as one can treat the section as a performance of "play".

      Yes, mostly, I think that is correct. Although for him it is an ontology that in the end "protects truth" (the last two words of Truth and Method).

    Great job discussing gadamer most people do a very dry interpretation but you touch upon so many major tenets of his ideas, and implications of his theories, especially in the context of our time and in the greater place in the history of philosophy.
