Awesome video, Morocco is a safe country, if you need help just ask, Moroccans are friendly and helpful, I hope you go back and make more videos in different towns, best of luck with the channel, god bless ❤
Welcome and hope you enjoy Morocco! Morocco has over 11M visitors every year, it's one of the most visited countries in the world. The fact that you have to write "solo female traveler" in the title as a clickbait or that most people in the West would assume Morocco to be unsafe, says a lot about the anti-Islam propaganda and misconceptions built from the West. As a Moroccan living in the West, I can guarantee you that Morocco is safer for women than the West. Moroccans do not mind their own business, they would intervene if they see a woman getting harassed. In the West, when people see a woman getting harassed, people keep walking and pretend not to see it.
Thank you so much for the comment Andrew, I completely agree with you. It is such a shame people have such inaccurate judgements of such a beautiful country. Before going to Morocco, I had so many 'it's dangerous' or 'be careful' comments from family and friends. Unfortunately, it's ingrained into the Western mentality to view things in this way which is rich since the majority have not even been to Morocco for themselves. I had the same experience with English people when I went to South Africa for two months alone in 2015. In my defence, I suppose when you are surrounded by these comments of fear, it's hard to be completely confident with your gut feeling and know that you will be okay until you are actually in the country to see for yourself! Deep down, I just knew that I would be okay and that it was mostly Western propaganda. I had a wonderful experience in the 10 days I was in Morroco and felt so much safer than I ever have done back in the UK! The Moroccan people I met were super helpful, friendly, and welcoming, I felt completely looked after everywhere I went. Also, as a side note, I noticed Morrocan people have the most beautiful and kindest eyes too! Even though the title is somewhat clickbait, like my other ones too, potentially it will help people to let go of these misconceptions until they actually experience Morocco for themselves.
To be honest, I think most travelers from the West who go to Morocco do so without misconceptions (religion or other types), because otherwise they would not be very interested. When I travelled there I was mostly remembering what friends and relatives had told me about their experiences. And it turned out to be quite similar to what I expected. Personally I loved the country (as others did too) but I found it hard to deal with harassment on the streets in the big cities. I mean, it was the worst part of the trip, the only negative one. I am a man though, so I can not say what it is like for women. I met some solo female travelers and as far as I remember they had good experiences and didn't feel unsafe. Still, there are some cultural differences with other Western countries. I remember being in a village/town close to the mountains and feeling slightly unease because I didn't see a single woman on the streets, even though there were a lot of people. Very likely it would have been completely safe for a solo female traveler (I don't have any reasons to believe the opposite) but probably she would have caught a lot of attention. I remember also a Moroccan girl telling me that in some rural areas it was very difficult for women (which doesn't necessarily mean it is not safe, but didn't sound ideal either). Anyway, I was lucky to meet some Moroccans and share some time with them, and they were wonderful. Peace.

Peccato non capisco inglese comunque bene venuta in morocco
why you are look scared you think morocco is afganistan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 . morocco is open country don't worry
I know that now! Had so much negativity back home, people fearing for my safety, etc. I realised how ridiculous all the fears were after a few days!
You haven't moved from a top roof restaurant, hahahaha, how can you say it's safe or not? No idea.
Thank you
