As a non Nigerian I will; like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL AFRICAN ARTIST but especially NIGERIAN ARTIST , you don't have an idea how happy you guys have made us all africans happy in the past 10 yrs. Nowadays all african music is All i listen to . I dont even put on american fm radio anymore. I got all african music playing in my car 24/7. I have even introduce this to my non african friends. I am so proud to be african. I hold my head high in public as i listen to our songs. One does not need to understand the language to understand. Music is Universal.
Don’t wait to you get “everything” before you do, please. You have “everything” you just don’t know nor see it but it will gradually start manifesting once you start playing (praising).
When my son died, I played and danced this song by his corpse as we switched off the life support machine. I refuse to mourn but to thank God even in the worst situation. This song captured my praise and so this song is a special song for me and my family. I have started this channel to talk about that life changing experience. Thank you Tiwa and Dr Sid for making this song. It gave me words when my eloquence ceased in the face of the death that claimed my son. But I am thankful for all of God’s blessings. Adupe lowo Jesu Christi 🙏
undoubtly, this is the best song, in terms of, message and supreme acknowledgement, of who we are and what we go through. Also like Dr Sid black jacket, cap , glasses, and swag.
Jan 2021 and I’m still pretty much in love with this song. The message is so powerful and there’s so much to unpack from the lyrics. I’m Tiwa Savage’s biggest groupie 😂😂 I love her to bits. ❤️
This is my favourite video. How underrated the scenes of domestic violence, underrepresentation of certain demographics and how even the overlooked find joy in themselves. The imagery of domestic violence has not left my mind since the video came. The defeat and shame evident in the woman as she struggles to veil the nakedness of her abuse from the whole world. Prostate, defeated. The absolute disconnection of her abuser from her struggles, his minded addled by drugs and alcohol. He does not care about anything or anyone but himself and his capacity to loose himself in the illicit substances he consumes. The saddest part of it all is that when justice finds the abuser, and his drugs were not there to spare him from the terror of the law, the abused woman is not there to witness her liberation. Probably dead at the hands of the abuser.
Good Lord! Capital Dreams deserve an award for this solid concept. The imagery, the scene, the contrast, geez! We can all agree this is a great collaboration. This lady remains undisputed and unparalleled. Tiwa just bloody knows!
I love this song and video. I'm absolutely in love with the beat, flow and all. I'm Ghanaian but I really love Nigerians in general. Their creativity and all, always at its best. much love from West Africa
The song has an Ojuelegba flow and feel. Beautiful visuals and a beautiful way of executing creativity. Definitely a classic. The type of song you want to listen to when you're back from work, or from the gym- just in a chill mode. I will attempt to put it on the level of African Queen
I love it Tiwa. This is a totally different side of you. You look liberated. Everything will be ok my sister. Don't start to talk, just keep on the good work.
This video is esoteric in its vision spirit and message. For those who can hear, listen, for those who have sight, look. Are you awake to who we are yet? my African brothers and sisters, wake up, the horn has sounded. Our divine being is stirring, our destiny is manifest, embrace it. If I start to talk.
I'm literally have been listening to this on repeat for hours..not once zoning out ...a timeless combination of emotion ...this is ideal music for everyone
first impression? MIND BLOWN!! the lyrics of this track make sense, the rhythm is engaging and the video? Wow! The imagery is not only beautiful but different scenes come together to tell different stories. For me, its about the cycle of marriage; the rush to fulfill the "I'm married' dream", the pressure to get preggers, the small fights and disagreements and the point when reality starts to set in. As always, I like the proudly Nigerian references and the subtle taste of our home grown crops and attires. (*this is me ignoring that not so Nigerian money*) all in all, good music, great song!
yeah that and the 'west is better' mentality. Having access to foreign currency is like an " I have made it" symbol. Hard as it may be, we need to be proud of the Naira as well. Give it an emotional value when all else fails.
Same thing I am thinking. No one has the right to say "I made you". Because if she didn't have talent and wasn't hardworking she would not be where she is today.
They haven't thought about her own input when it comes to hard work and her talent to be able to stay relevant in the music market .. Ok you helped her but if she wasn't talented she won't be where she is today.. Music market is not like Nollywood dat u sleep with producers to get role and even in Nollywood self if u like sleep with thousand of producers, if you don't have that acting prowess you won't last long too. Abeg tiwa relax and enjoy your hard work.. Teebliz is a looser. Fine ,respectful, calm and homely gal like this Na e u wan useless .. Leave and see how many men will still come ,they will even love her more and provide for her. I just dey vex
this song has been ringing in my head for the past two weeks, this is excellent, we should get meaningfull songs like this on a daily basis im berging...........oya if i start to shout the blessing baba God der give me eno go end
Tiwa be strong... If life beats you down, it shows there is a brighter future.. Be you, be real, cheer up and take care of your child. Men can be weak too .... Look away and keep focused
❤ Can't believe i'm only stumbling upon this song 7 years later... it has absolutely moved me. My theme song for this season in my life for sure!!!! Tiwa Savage, and Collborators, Asanteni sana❤

I feel dis song is underrated, it should have more than 10m views at least. It's not just an inspirational song but also a gospel song. Queen Tiwa & Dr. Sid nailed it

+Oseyi Okoh LMAOOO. I spotted the benjamins too. I always wonder why Nigerians like to promote foreign things. Colonial legacy?
yeah that and the 'west is better' mentality. Having access to foreign currency is like an " I have made it" symbol. Hard as it may be, we need to be proud of the Naira as well. Give it an emotional value when all else fails.
I can’t believe this was eight years ago. This is like one of my favourite songs by Tiwa it’s such a bop. ✨🔥👏🏾
Tiwa has success because of her talent.. very beautiful voice, GOD blessed her. GOD made her, not some fool talking ish in the media
