- Here's a short video of my pellet stove operating via a thermostat. The thermostat eliminates temperature swings and reduces pellet consumption. I also show just how cold it was outside.
This is a very good video this week. I just purchased a pellet stove it is being shipped from North Caroline I have never used one I purchased is a 50,000 BTU unit my home. 1500 ft.² I'm wondering will this be enough. To warm a two-story house.what are your thoughts it usually gets no more than about 20° here on the winter.
stay warm bro
We do not have a thermostat, but have the 3 options of High/Low, manual and auto. We are experiencing extreme cold, which is the best setting? I have tried to read forums, but that leads me to be more confused.
about what percent of propane e did you save? what kind of skirting do you have? did you modify the trailer insulation at all? impressive video
I looked through your vids but I didn't find a vid about your pellet stove. How does it work, being it's on a thermostat? In other words how does control the burn rate of the pellets?
The stove has 5 burn rate settings and all the thermostat does is switch between setting 1 and my preset setting which is setting 3.
Thanks however, I wanted to know exactly what happens in the stove to control the burn rate?
The higher settings just feeds the pellets into the burn chamber more frequently.
Thanks again. This is exactly what I wanted to know. I'm thinking very seriously about buying one of these. I do appreciate it!
They're nice and they'll save you a ton on propane.
One pound per hour ? Are you saying one bag of pellets will last you five eight hour burn days. Or almost two twenty four hour burn days.
One pound a hour should get about day and half to 2 days out of one bag when I burn mine I get 24 hours out of a 40 pound bag if I burn 3 or 4 pounds but if I burn 1 pound I get almost 2 days out of a 40 pound bag
Your door is definitely leaking heat...
