This is a good one we have an amazing one here! Did you see his special three that was freaking epic! Gorr with that God bomb! I just loved all of his attacks but that God bomb though! Also his pose was absolutely amazing where you just fades into darkness that's pretty cool. We don't give credit enough to the poses for some of these champions so I will say it, this one they outdid themselves with the pose for both of them. I like that Valkyrie does drink like I guess is that supposed to be a potion or alcohol or something almost like she does in the movies with actual beer really matched her personality bringing her into the game but her special three was pretty awesome as well I can't wait to see them in terms of more in-depth with their effects.
Early thoughts: Valkyrie has some evade mechanic either as failsafe or ability trigger, I assume she has auto-counter like Mr.Negative. Valkyrie also benefits from hitting into the block, which either activates abilities like unblockable or just dishes a lot of damage. She also seems to have a per-hit bonus to an attribute. Gorr seems to have unique shadow magic buffs that might pack the utility or boost crit rate and-or damage. He also has multiple types of DoT debuffs. Similar to Anti-Venom, the more variety, the more Fury. Just hope Sp.2 doesn't consume the DoT, that'd suck. And I hope these shadow magic buffs counter auto-block, miss, evade, and armor. Some other notable mentions would be that Valkyrie should have a synergy with 1 or more Thor. And Knull should benefit from a Gorr synergy as Gorr uses Knull's necrosword.

No disrespect but Gorr's special attacks look like a slightly different version than Mr. Negative, Scarlet Witch Sigil, and Stryfe's special 3. It's a little disappointing to see recycled animations for new champs.
Iam excited to mess around with the new champions, good animation . Hope thor rags or thor Jane get a good buff. Thor rags is ok but deserves much better
@@_think2026 well its decent but there should be another way of dealing his damage besides from the sp3. Rotation. And he should get some animation changes not only for special attacks but basic animations aswell. Also he is the god of thunder so he should not get shock damage instead he should benefit from it like storm does, when she gets one she instead gains prowess also he should be able to deal good shock damage imo I am not saying that he is not good but he is the freaking god of thunder and he should look like a god not some kind of soldier

I think Sp1 has 10 hits (2 hits on each strike) and 7hits on Sp2 (3,3,1). Awesome animations, Sp2 reminds me of something like Sym Sup & Doom’s Sp2. Great stuff
This is a marvel game, not a MCU game. I know you're trying to go for what's gonna grab the most attention with the movie coming out and all, but I would've thought that if gorr wouldn't recieve a comic design adaptation from the movie, he'd at least receive it in the game. I feel like it would've done more good for the team in the long run. - Very unique character design. A humanoid alien figure cloaked in shadows. - More unique attacks and specials. Gorr literally uses his cloak to form all kinds of weaponry. Chains, blades, you name it. - Being one of the few champions that canonically has a summon, you could've even implemented to new summoning feature from the side quest to fight for a while. - Gorr gets stronger with each God he kills. If this isn't the perfect set up for a champion with persistent charges, then I don't know what is. I don't know, I know that the movies coming out and all, but you literally can't convince me that adding the comic accurate Gorr wouldn't have had an even MORE positive response for comic readers AND MCU enjoyers. Hell, you could've just added both MCU Gorr AND comic Gorr within the same month, created a crazy hard quest event where they team up to attempt to destroy the contest since it was essentially created by Gods. There were so many long term opportunities wasted on a quick cash grab.
I like that there’s a reveal at the end. The champs are looking up to the sky and a dark cloud is above them and you hear a faint evil laugh. I wonder who’s coming next Kabam???

can we just point out that Gorr gets to use a magical nuke on his opponent with his special 3? Also, i appreciate the cinematic shot and, okay, I may have taken a screenshot of that. but it feels like she had so much more potential with the Special 3.
Looks like i'll be hyping up more for Gorr's abilities rather than his animations. I assume he can inflict damaging debuffs and gain shadow magic buffs from this video :o wonder what those are.
I hope Gorr starts the fight with an indefinite Self-debuff armor up called Symbiotic armor, which counts as an armor up, lets say vs Havok, but is a debuff and have more benefits... and that the synergy is Knull get an indefinite Symbiotic armor debuff on himself at the start of the fight, too.

Everyone keeps talking up Gorr’s SP3. I’m just going to be honest. It looks pretty basic when you compare it to most of the SP3s this year. Kinda disappointing imo. Valkrye looks dope. Gorr looks cool, don’t get me wrong, I’m sure he’ll be fun. It’s just the SP3, I think is getting really overhyped for something that (comparatively speaking) looks pretty low effort compared to most champs in 2022.
The way Valkyrie just smacks her opponent from that sp3 just really shows her Asgardian strength i love that she did that here.
