I love the 'twist' that Fred's parents are just normal, loving parents. It's a refreshing change, and the goofy interactions between them and the gang are so fun. So glad Fred is staying, too. She's my fav Buffyverse character.
Amy Acker's (Fred) acting in the station with the parent confrontation always gets me, as it did you guys I saw. When she couldn't fool herself and pretend anymore, and had to face that it had all been real. So heartbreaking!
I love the episode Billy. It is dark, but it is really satisfying to see how each of their characters overcome the situation he put them in. I especially love Gunn having Fred knock him out for her protection.
Fred's family are honestly great and how they care for Fred and accept her. The jokes have been amazing and actually make me laugh out loud. Fred is like the Willow of Angel accept if she went more science than witchcraft. Poor Lorne is going through it. To have his club destroyed not once but twice after all that work. Plus it must nor be cheap to have not only the human amenities but the demon ones too. Cordy is amazing and came a long way since the first season of Buffy. Angel not wanting to train Fred feels almost like he forgot she did survive 5 years in Pylia before he came along.
Eeee I’ve been waiting for this one!! Fred is my favorite female Buffyverse character, so this character-centric episode was everything to me because it shows how important and unique she is to the Team. She’s just so… normal, but extraordinary! Also, Cordy and Wes imitating Buffy and Angel will forever be one of the greatest and most iconic moments. The fact that they even sounded a lot like them at one point made me laugh so hard until I cried. It’s definitely my favorite funny moment in the entire series 😂❤️
@@justmegirl23 I should have mentioned Alexis Denisof too because he is also an amazing performer. Dollhouse was fantastic. I'm currently making my sister watch it with me. Have you seen Much Ado About Nothing (2012)? If you are at all into Shakespeare I highly recommend it - lots of familiar faces.
Fredless really is the perfect representation of LA for me. All of Angel Investigations sitting around commiserating over the fact that none of them come from healthy family backgrounds, and the one oddball who does have a healthy family relationship chooses to stay here because she's seen too much reality to go back.
I think Billy was one of the best episodes of the Season with a disturbing storyline. Billy's ability to influence men to harm women for his voyeuristic addiction illustrates us how dark this show can be. A great conversation with Lilah and Cordelia in an almost 'bitch off' both giving as good as they get with snappy dialogue. It's so disturbing to watch when the gentle Wesley is under Billy's influence and his aggression towards Fred. When Gunn realises as well that he could be affected it's a great scene as he tries to fight the influence. A super scene too when Lilah shoots Billy at the end. Cordelia and Angel's conversation very telling at the end of the episode, as is Fred's conversation with Wesley, who of course has been deeply affected by this. Even though a stand alone episode, some brilliant character development here.
In Fredless, Fred asks about Angel’s relationship with Buffy, curious because he left so abruptly to meet her at the end of the previous episode. One of the funniest moments in the show is when Cordelia and Wesley put on an overly-dramatic, humorous play that summarizes what Angel and Buffy's off-screen reunion might have been like. When Angel meets Fred's parents a very funny scene. Just comedy overload from Lorne talking about The Godfather 3 film, brilliant writing. Fred of course doesn't really want to leave, and works out what is happening and saves the day. Wesley talking about his past and childhood very telling, and you can see how this has affected him as an adult. All in all a very entertaining episode.
5 A Fred story. I love how even the characters acknowledge how great her parents are. 6 Billy. The character its a bit hard to mourn and Angel is responsible for releasing to save Cordelia.
Happy "Angel" Friday evening(a day late)with Sergio & Cody! 😊 Two really good episodes for this evening. Episode 3x05: This is one of my favorite season 4 episodes. Angel and his team try to find Fred after she leaves when her parents arrive in L.A. Episode 3x06: A demonic boy infects Angel, Wesley, and Gunn. Resulting in a very frightened Fred, and Cordelia fearing the return of Angelus. Looking forward to next week's episode reactions. 😊
Billy was a very troubling episode. I can't imagine being taken over by that, I get why Wesley doesn't have it in him to face Fred. Vampires are probably mentally stronger than a human, Dru finds torture and being tortured fun. And Angel has a soul, he's able to not drink blood and kill. Maybe since the demon in him is basically locked away, he can't be reached.
Some powers just don't work on vampires, remember? When Buffy could hear people's thoughts, she couldn't hear Angel's. Maybe Billy's power is to cause men to reflect his own hatred of women, but it doesn't work on vampires, they can't reflect it.
I don’t think there have been aliens in Buffy/Angel shows … but there were in a Spike comic. While some comics are considered (at least) semi-canon, the canonicity of some of the comic storylines is a bit dubious.
Not Fred saying Buffy is a goofy name. Cordy & Wes acting out a Buffy/Angel monologue 💀 Angel would see 😂 I should take a shot every time Wes mentions being a rogue demon hunter 😂 Fred’s parents? Being gone for 5 years had to be hard for everyone involved. Poor Fred. Angel throwing the demon head through the window 😂 they’re making her parents look suspicious. I hope they’re not up to anything bad. Love Lorne watching Judge Judy! He never remodeled the club after the attack 😭 Aww Fred going to Lorne for help. Fly creature in the sewers looked gnarly. Tensions still high between Lorne & Gunn. Lorne is so over everything. Lorne’s heart is in his left butt-cheek? 😂 Poor Fred at the station 💔 The team taking the fight to the insect creature. The bus coming in clutch 🙌🏼 Fred’s parents helping them out! “Don’t be silly Trish, it’s just a severed head” 💀 Cordy patching everyone up. Angel being so excited for his turn to get patched up 😂 Aww Angel the champion, Wesley the brains, Gunn the muscle, Cordy the heart 💜 Fred doesn’t know if she has a place on the team. She wants to go home. Fred reading her story on the wall 😢 Aww Cordy’s parting words to Fred. Her saying by to the team. The taxi ride conversation. The team talking about how much they liked Fred’s parents because they were actually parents to her. I forget the four of them all have parental issues in common 😢 Angel calling Fred a nice quiet kinda crazy is spot on. Not a bug infestation! Fred saving the day! The hive came back for the babies. So gross but also heartwarming? 🤔 Love Fred making her own weapons. Wesley voting for her to stay all on his own 😂 Glad she found her purpose & calling with the team. And that her parents were sweet & supportive. Fred painting over her walls, starting fresh. Adored this episode. The character development we got with Fred was really well done. Really hoping the team can help Lorne get back on his feet & rebuild emotionally & physically regarding the club & the haven it used to be for everyone. Yes Cordy! I’ve been wanting her to have some fight training 🙌🏼 Billy the congressman’s nephew? Oop Lilah vs Gavin. Ouch poor Lilah. Aww love the team gaming together. Poor Angel “I’m tired of being the dead one.” 😂 Oh Wesley’s into Fred! 🙃 “Pepperidge farms remembers” - Cody always with the South Park drops 😂 Cordy’s vision was intense! “You did it to save me…And I’d do it again.” Adore Angel & Cordy’s friendship 💚 Oof Lilah 😢 I wonder when Angel is gonna find out him & Lilah made out on the desk when the old man swapped bodies with him. That’s gonna be an awkward revelation. Angel hopping the fence leaving Gunn & Wes behind 😂 Billy has that quiet intensity that’s so unsettling. Not infecting the cop cuz he likes to watch violence against women. Time to send Billy back to hell. The team is teaming. Love how in sync they are working cases now. I wonder if the congressman uses Billy’s powers to take out his political rivals 🤔 Angel is always so impulsive. Not Cordy going off on her own. Cordy & Lilah finally conversing. I’m living! Love serious locked in Cordy! 🙌🏼 Oh no the blood sample affecting Wesley! Poor Fred. Dark Wesley is so unsettling. Cordelia calling Angel melodramatic to Billy’s cousin 😂 Wes in the hotel was definitely giving The Shining. Fred giving final girl energy. Yes Cordy confronting Billy! “I’m here to send you back.” 👏🏽 Gunn helping Fred. Not him infecting Angel! Not Gunn touching the handprint too! Yes Angel fighting back 🙌🏼 Gunn wanting Fred to knock him out to protect herself. Lilah showing up to take out Billy! 👏🏽 Fred knocking Wesley out with the trap! Adore the Angel/Cordy fight training & I hope it continues. Poor Wes is so ashamed of his actions 😢 Fred & Wesley’s talk 💚 I loved that the women got to take initiative & showcase their strength & smarts & were able to save themselves ultimately. Glad Cordelia was able to get through to Lilah as well. Curious to see if they interact further in the future because I was living for their dynamic. I thoroughly enjoyed these episodes. So much character development & relationship building. It seems like Fred has always been a part of the team at this point. She fits in so seamlessly. Idk if it’s just me but I always thought Gunn & Fred had a little vibe going on, so I was a bit shocked when Wes seemed to have a thing for her in this last episode. Anyways phenomenal reactions as per usual y’all. Can’t wait for next week 🖤
Totally off topic but have you thought of reacting to person of interest it's a great series and it has one of the angel gang in it sorry I'm not going to say who incase you decide to react to the series
I think the reason neither Buffy or Angel could talk about it was bc they both were now in different networks. Fred's a different kind of smart bc she's, I think, a physics major unlike Wesley who's smart in a different way and matters. Also, not a spoiler bc they are just secondary characters, but Fred's parents remain nice people.
Girl.....my sister is jealous of me being married to my active duty wife. Wtf...I've asked my parents what to think and they're giving her the benefit of the doubt. I'm also a female. My wife is filipino and I'm Native American.
Cordy/Wes acting out Buffy/Angel will always be absolutely hilarious.
It's one of the top ten moments for me.
@@afry6400 completely agree!

Two of my fave eps. Amy's acting chops are phenomenal and lucky us, there's plenty more in store! :D
Yesss I sooo hope they watch dollhouse too she was greattt!

Now I can say it. Frigging love Fred! Been waiting for her to join! Yaaay
Two really well written episodes. So emotional and well acted
billy reminds me of killgrave

Thats actually something to think about, gunn was able to fight it a bit but Wesley wasn't 🤔

That's definitely a spoiler because you had to watch the full series to know that. I'm not sure what being a secondary character has to do with it.
Can u pin im a big fan I been here since day 1😂😭
I am so beyond excited for you guys to see Fred's role in season 5. Prepare to cry your little hearts out and not be able to stop.
This is a spoiler that she's on the show that long.
