Thanks for putting your #1 as #1; you know why I like her so much but I do agree with what you said about her too. I thought I was the only one who found that 'dry' thing in Sandrine; everyone else loved her blindly; but I always found a lack of swing & jazz in her voice, and more of a formal pop sound. I also agree with the rest. :)
Sandrine is the voice where like, every character has at least one, a voice that's just 'perfect' and you don't think about it often but every time you DO Think of it you're like 'this is perfect' then you forget about it once again (others include Polish Elsa!)
I only notice Deborah's auto-tune in the reprise of WWMLB, at other times I actually wished she was auto-tuned more, her notes in I see the light are a little weird at times imo. Lmao, forgetting which version I liked better from Vera is something I can relate to, because I barely remember which performance was which. I love Laura's Moana, definitely a good choice for number 1. Ironically the hoarseness she has as in her voice is something that I didn't like in the Eurovision song she sang last year, I actually found her voice too pinchy and irritating because of it, but as Moana I think it sounds absolutely wonderful, definitely one of my favorite Moana's so far ^^
Without knowing, you stepped on my heart for putting Karina as low as you did :P I get that her singing doesn't sound as professional as it should be, but if you'd understand the language ... or it could be that I find her great because she's my childhoodversion (hmmmm didn't think about that) hahahaha I thought you'd put Aline higher cause she's great too but I'm kinda glad you have a different way of looking at these voices ;)
Oh I totally knew you liked Karina :P Actually hearing that you liked her gave me a closer listen to her, I still don't really like her singing because I find it a little tired but I do sense emotion. But overall I think Dutch does the same thing better for me. Aline is fine but I've grown to like Noortje quite a bit so Aline doesn't seem exceeding.
It was a great video, I just adore Flemish language and their dubs are overall really great! I am just sad to see the low place of Deborah de Ridder, but I can understand why everybody seems to dislike her x) I just love her, and she's so fitting for me ^^
