The pace suits my way of learning. She also has a pleasant and soothing speaking voice. She makes the steps so easy to follow. I had a brain anomaly three years ago. Since then I have become more methodical. Her step by step and lack of extraneous words is exactly how I think now.
I came across this Korean quilting technique and was trying to figure out the method, as I have been sewing for the last 45 years or so. Great tutorial. In English sewing, the seam we call 'flat fell', and the stitch we call 'whip stitch'.
Thank you! When you add more pieces, the seam gets thicker but use the same method to connect more pieces. I teach online classes about this technique so please check my website or IG posting for future classes!
Clever way to measure the two seam allowances. The tiny stitches are so well-done.

Thank you! Yes, I use flat fell seam and whipstitch to explain techniques. Also, I share Korean terms so people can get familiar with them.
Thank you… beautiful explanation and demonstration.
I use the thread knotting technique when I start sewing - but had never thought of using it to finish…. Bonus!

Thank you!😊
The thread is beautiful. What thread do you use?
I use 50 wt. cotton thread for cotton, linen, and ramie fabrics. and 50wt. silk for silk fabrics.
Wouldn’t you want to use matching or close color thread
I love to use contrasting color threads! It adds a bit of character and stitch marks can be another design element😀
Thank you so much for this video :) This is really nice!
