  • A quick glimpse of the World Famous Mysore Palace, also knows as Amba Vilas Palace. It is located in Mysore, Karnataka. It used to be the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. The palace is in the centre of Mysore, and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward.
I had a wonderful time walking through an incredibly breath-taking Indo - Saracenic style of architectures. The Durbar Hall with its ornate ceiling and sculpted pillars, The Kalyanamantapa (marriage pavilion) with its glazed tiled flooring and stained glass, The domed ceiling, An intricately carved doors, The golden howdah (elephant seat), Beautiful paintings, Jewel encrusted golden throne are amongst the palace’s few treasures I could see beside many which I could not get the glance of. The walled palace complex houses the Residential Museum (incorporating some of the Palace’s living quarters), temples and shrines including the Shwetha Varahaswamy temple.
A must visit place for those traveling to Karnataka for vacation. I hope you enjoy watching. Thank you for watching. See you all in my next Vlog. Take care and stay safe. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️
