Im looking to do what your doing , cause cycles are made the ride n adventures . Im going to set my trailer up with solar but with a twist , mini fridge to go ice less. Keep riding n showing love the videos.
Just came across your website & videos today. It’s 4:10 am & I can’t stop watching!! It’s all so wonderful; the information, the videoing, the scenery, the notes & tips, & especially the both of you! Thank you!! I’m excited & a little nervous as to how these videos & your experiences are going to impact my life. My wife & I recently retired, & I ride a Goldwing. We are from Saskatchewan Canada. The longest trip we’ve done as a couple, was an 8 day trip to Mount Rushmore many years ago. For that trip we pulled a small trailer for camping gear, & we ended up 50/50 camping & hotels. I’m beyond words for what you’ve doing, & how you are doing it. Thank you, thank you & thank you again!!
I loved 64. There is an interesting museum in the Silverton jail at the end of town, which includes hems in the basement and mining equipment through a tunnel
Enjoying your channel just came off a 8k mile ride out west . Taking my wife with the RV and 4 wheeler and 2 wheeler after my winter retirement.i love the west.👍
I honked my horn! Wonderful videos, very enjoyable. I retired at 50, moved back to Texas, sold my motorcycle, and went back to work. What was I thinking?
I loved your video to Durango, Hwy. 64 to Silverton, CO.! We are now a member!Frank R. Morrell! And I am interested in a HR Freewheeler Trike come Nov. 8th, 2022! Your Campsites make me want to “Hurry Up & Meet Up With You Soon! Thanks, Chris & Rich!
Great video guys. My wife and I did a four month bike trip in 2018( My wife rides her own). We rode the Million dollar highway, and stopped in Silverton also. Stopped and took pics in some of the same places you did in this video. Spent a couple days in Durango also. Really enjoy your videos.
Just found your channel. Loving you guys! Makes me smile when I think of the goals hubby and I look forward to. We plan to retire earlier than usual, buy a Class A toy hauler and take the bikes out from each camp :)
Hello from Bowie Texas I've been watching your videos and I seen that y'all are from Denton! I ride a Gold Wing and pull a trailer that's always packed and ready to go camping
Love your travels, if you ever travel thru Indiana more than welcome to stay at my house or pitch a tent on my 21 acres. Hope too in the next 5 yrs sell out and hit the road myself. I guess if you get this reach out
Hello, we’re enjoying your journeys. We are going to be riding our bikes pulling our trailer and camping Off grid abit am wondering what your using for bathrooms? TY.
I’m 56 and I’m living your adventures. I have only road a bike and once and I’ve always been frightened of riding. Your adventures look so safe and awesome. Great soundtrack you have also during the rides. Have you ever been in a motorcycle accident? How much did you have saved to adventure like you do. I love that you detail the bikes I’m guessing nightly. I’m an auto detailer peace and trek on!!!!
Thanks Greg. I (Rich) have been in Motorcycle Accident when i was 19yo. The accident was my carelessness so had to get back on the bike. I would clean the bikes at least once a week but since we have been on the road not so much.
There are two types of riders, those that have crashed, and those that will crash. You can't ride fearing a crash. Relax and enjoy the journey. Cheers.
My wife and I rode that very same road from Taos to Chama. I wish they would have stopped at the Rio Grande Gorge bridge for the view of the gorge, and at the Earthship Biotecture site. A commune with buildings made of recyclables like glass bottles, pop and beer cans and old tires. Quite a site. At Chama we rode the Cumbres & Toltec scenic railroad to Antonito Colorado.
You guys live in luxury, wish I could :) I mostly live like a hobo when I'm hiking or riding my KLR or bicycle, sometimes I'll stay at a motel to freshen up, but I don't carry much stuff so camping isn't too much of a problem. Can still remember some of the dodgy campsites I've found. In the US when cycling the Trans-Am I camped in the long grass behind an abandoned house near Bethel, VA. I thought the place was haunted because the firefly's were lighting up, never seen them before, had a good sleep, but was worried for awhile. Keep safe :)
😱 New Mexico is so picturesque. Makes me want to go on a road trip! You guys are so adventurous and so brave! I wish I could ride, but I'm only able to be a passenger, which is still fun, but not as fun as riding. You guys are amazing and such pros at Youtubing! Thanks for this amazing adventure. Wishing you many happy, safe adventures. 👍🤘💚😊
Great video, I have a friend who gets stationed in Colorado later this year, we’re already making plans to go visit him once he gets settled in and do some riding in Colorado
Silverton to ouray is the Colorado Switzerland and a huge 4x4 , dirt bike riding area called the alpine loop wt many additional pass roads. Your Mc’s are dirt road capable
Been loving watching your videos from the start! I had thought about asking you, but, Chris, I'm so glad to see that you are Christians!! I wouldn't dream of riding without God with me! I do have one question tho, Rich, as I saw in one video, sometimes you do leave your trailer at camp. I am wondering, do you ever lock it like to a tree or such or not worry about it? You've got me thinking about a trailer but just thinking it out.
Amen Pete. Thanks. Yes we have a long cable lock the we have used and locked the trailer to the picnic table and or a tree. Then lock up the trailer. And just not worry about it.
New subscriber. I really like what you're doing. I want to get out there and ride this summer. So - I have a couple of bikes, a H.D. and a Goldwing. I'm thinking of trading them both for a BMW.... any thoughts or suggestions?
I will defer the BMW Question to Chris🤣. She loves hers for sure. We are seriously considering ADV bikes. We are finding ourselves off the pavement more and more.
@@TwoWheelsBigLife That would certainly be a big change. Getting around on those mountainous roads with a lot of gear is something that a Harley Ultra isn't cut out for. That's what I have. I did the HOG Group ride last year from K.C. to Durango and up to Breckenridge and back on my Ultra; I wished I'd done it on my Goldwing for everything n/o Durango. It wasn't a bad ride, but that's more of a sport ride, in my opinion. Thanks for your response.

@@TwoWheelsBigLife I am looking forward to doing some tent camping prior to retirement and watching you guys is inspiring!
Such awesome scenery in all the videos. Really enjoying them.
What are those structures where you left your new friends? Great video. Thanks!
I believe they are just some picnic tables with a lean to over them.
I did 64 , kinda fun . not sure I would drive out of way for it . million dollar is worth it IMO
Need to go to Ouray

When we were there in Siverton they were filming at an old hotel down by the train station and got asked to be a extra. Pretty fun stuff.
Nice!!
If you r ever in Pagosa again, stop in the Neon Mallard and have a drink. Ask for Missey or Cliff and tell them Pop Pop sent you! They r my kids!

You’re welcome. We are lovin this so far.
Rode highway 550 down to Bloomfield then highway 64 east to Tulsa back in 2009. What a beautiful ride. Enjoyed the video.
Cheers!! Thanks for watching

Good ol Mother Nature. Just be sure to bring a shovel and bury it at least 6-12 inches. And no where near a water source.

I made that ride on the way from Austin to Sturgis in 2010. Great ride. I preferred Ouray over Silverton.

Yes we stopped at the bridge in a previous video. We have not stopped at the Earth Ship, I think that’s a name for it. Thanks Mick
I know Paul Smart, well I met him a few years ago. Real nice and down to earth fella, Think he won Imola on his 21st birthday?

It truly is an awesome state.

There is so many good roads in Colorado. Especially the southern part. We’re kinda partial to that part.

We didn't go to the Brothel. You didn't! HAHA
Ride safe guys, by the way I want to see how the two pounds stake came out?..
Take care and enjoy
That was a big one. And was fantastic!

Yea we are full time and southwest in the winter Albuquerque area for now but not too long.
