I was raised Catholic and Les is speaking on the biggest issue I had, (and what caused me to leave the church as a young adult). We were taught to listen to the church hierarchy, especially the pope (who represents God on earth) INSTEAD of cracking open the Bible and reading it yourself. Don’t question THEIR interpretation of God’s word, you’ll only be confused. Raising your hand in school to question something which made no sense to an eight year old would get you into BIG trouble. Once I started actually READING the Bible and realized how the Catholic dogma didn’t match the gospel, all those childhood questions started to be answered! Please understand that the church kept me on the straight and narrow growing up, especially as a teen, and the majority of staunch Catholics I know are good folks. They simply don’t know God’s word and have been indoctrinated against reading it for themselves. They’d profit from Les guiding them to their OWN discovery of the truth.

I most always find that when I listen to a teaching over again, I hear something more, than listening the first time. And it always surprises me. I’ve listened to many teachers/preachers and found they showed to be false. And I thank the Lord that you are still, by my side. As I continue on my journey to learning about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I’m keeping you and your lovely wife, in my prayers. She always smiles for the camera, that makes me smile and brings to me truth, in the saying “smiles are contagious” God Bless you both ❣️🕊🙏
As a little boy in the 1960's I was told that I would burn in Hell forever, because the Devil was to smart for me. I believe the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ. But believe the lost will be annihilated and not burn forever, as people in Heaven cheer? no, no no. The soul the sis shall die!
