  • I'm back with a review of my mesh jacket, the Dainese Hydra Flux D-dry!

      Awww! Thank you! Yeah it was actually kind of fun to ride in a downpour but kind of nervewracking too as I didn't want to hydroplane!!! 🥵

    Why he riding so close to the center??? :O

      He looks close, but thats essentially where a car tire would be. There are multiple reasons for that. In this situation, visbility for oncoming cars (people are less likely to see you if you are further right) and himself are two reasons. Another reason is, where I am in the center, there tends to be more fluids and oil left by cars. Further to the right near the white line, you run into debris like sand and gravel, both of which cause bikes to lose traction. The 4th reason is that he is riding with another person, so we always ride staggered which allows us space to move left or right if something happens. If he had to suddenly brake, my right lane position will give me time to brake as well as avoid running directly into him.
      A good motorcyclist will choose different parts of the lane depending on the situation. In this situation, leading in the left most part of the lane makes the most logical sense.
