Just buried a dear friend. This poem echoes what she must have been saying to herself as she entered Hospice. I cannot read or hear this dry-eyed! Elizabeth Swanson
This poem gave me hope around the concept of death; such a hard thing to consider let alone face. I hope it and many others brought solace and space to feel around the loss of your dear friend 💚🙏
How uplifting, it's strange how some poets dwell on death and misery, it seems their only goal in life is to spread their morbid death fears onto others, Bukowski was the same.
