JUNE 6, 2024: Head of the Police Area One, Acting Assistant Commissioner Glenford Miller, and members of his security detail were fired on by occupants of a bus on Kent Avenue, Near Flanker in St James on Wednesday night. No One Was Injured… One of St James' wanted men, Collin Walters, also known as '1 o'clock', was shot and killed during an alleged confrontation with the police at a guest house in Montego Bay, earlier on Wednesday… Former Prime Minister PJ Patterson says he supports the Constitutional Reform Committee's recommendation for the Constitution to be changed to allow only persons with Jamaican citizenship to be eligible to sit in Parliament… IN SPORTS: Jamaica's Reggae Boyz defeated Dominican Republic 1-0 in their opening World Cup Qualifying Match at the National Stadium in Kingston.
