Kind Sir...What happened to?...Bartholomew, Thomas, Simon: The Cananaean and this one Matthias, that Peter coined. after Judas killed himself? Huh?
According to the Bible, the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ were:
Simon: Also known as Peter, along with his brother Andrew
James: Son of Zebedee, along with his brother John
Philip: Along with Bartholomew
Thomas: Also known as Didymus, an Aramaic name meaning "twin"
Matthew: Also known as Levi, a tax collector who later became a Gospel writer
James: Son of Alphaeus, along with Thaddaeus
Simon: The Cananaean, along with Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
And why did Jesus choose a mean Jew; and made him: the GREATEST "Apostle", in the world. Whose name was "Saul of Tarsus". But Jesus changed his name to be "Paul". Who wrote 13 books in the NT. Where NO other writer; ever wrote that many books in the Bible! Huh?
I believe the "Answers" are this: VERY few Apostles pleased Jesus. Sad, But OH so True. But Jesus is going to choose "144,000" men soon! That WILL be what Jesus wants. Thus, they will have "No guile in their mouths" and "NOT defiled with women"! So, that End's the "Story" of foolish men. Because these:: will be PERFECT! Praise Jesus' Holy Name...Amen!
