Paralympic Games, major international sports competition for athletes with disabilities. Comparable to the Olympic Games, the Paralympics are split into Winter Games and Summer Games, which alternately occur every two years.

I was going to mention this. I wonder if it's a good, bad or neutral thing that so few have visible disabilities? I have non-visible disabilities myself. I can't decide, if it were me, whether I would want the mascots to be representative, or whether I would rather the focus be on the athleticism rather than the challenges the athletes faced.
