Randy J. Whaley thanks for the comment. Unfortunately no boat for the moment..... land people until kids finish school and we do another lap of the globe.
wow, 3 heard sails, what a nice feature, i love the discovery, i think thats what "distant shores" sails, they recently had their 3rd one built and it looks like a mansion inside and out. the cabins remind me of a catamaran being up top.
You can certainly give her to me anytime otherwise I suppose I'll just keep up with the lotto each week and fingers crossed I'll get there in ten years but she is a beautiful lady
those who follow Discovery boats news, know that Miss Behaving has travelled around the world. can we get an update from the owners as to what their next move is after selling the boat?
Hi Guy, What's our next move? Being land lubbers! Kids are back at their old school and we're settling back into house and life as 'normal' people - or at least trying : ) We'll buy another boat and cruise again, it just won't happen until after our kids finish school. I saw another massage from you asking about our next boat and also issues along the way, but I only saw that message in an email that I deleted? Our next boat - currently thinking it would be a Discovery 58 - I think they look great, super happy with our boat, support from Discovery is excellent. Haven't seen a boat I would prefer. Issues with our boat - incredibly little. We replaced a few bits and pieces along the way such as the aquadrive (coupling between engine and prop shaft), bow thruster gearbox, some impellers on genset, sump pump for aft shower, a few more bits and pieces but over all it's very very little. That said we maintain the boat very highly so we don't have dramas, also the boat is very well built.
Hi Justin - thank you so much for taking the time to feedback. I keep looking around, but Discovery keeps drawing me back with great bluewater capability and superb finish. Not surprised, really, that you should be looking at another one! I didn't realise I'd sent an email as well?? Sorry for any confusion caused.
Gorgeous vessel. Some new owner will be very pleased. I had seen some of your videos over the last months, and the Discovery is now on the consideration list beside the Oyster and the Hallberg.
I think the Oyster and Halberg Rassy are very good boats but in my mind the Discovery kills them with the raised saloon. Sitting on watch below decks is the way to go when it's rough, not to mention being able to sit below if it's raining and see the magic locations you've sailed to..... I couldn't buy a low saloon yacht after this.
What I don't like is the fact that all those nice woodwork and nice equipment could possibly wind up on the bottom of the occean, everytime I see a nice boat like this go down It really hurts ,I just can't explain the feeling that comes over me so no thanks.
Plenty of people would agree with you! For me, the high end Catamarans don’t have anything like the finish of the Discovery. I’m also not sure I’d be as comfortable in a cat if the weather got really heavy.
You can find ads for our boat on www.yachtworld.co.uk/boats/2007/Discovery-55-2959607/Australia#.V2zzIZAmKrV as well as in Australia on www.boatpoint.com.au/boats-for-sale/private/used/SSE-AD-3997180/2007-DISCOVERY-Discovery-55?cr=0&psq=%28%28%28ListedDate%3Drange%5B20160409..%5D%26%28%28SiloType%3D%5BPrivate%20used%20boats%5D%7CSiloType%3D%5BDealer%20used%20boats%5D%29%7CSiloType%3D%5BDemo%20and%20near%20new%20boats%5D%29%29%26Service%3D%5BBoatsales%5D%29%26%28Make%3D%5BDISCOVERY%5D%26Model%3D%5BDiscovery%2055%5D%29%29&pso=0&pss=Premium
A J54 would smoke the ol girl but if you got a few 100k you to could go to Roatan, or provodencia, or just hang on the hook where you are, Just imagine, funny this is the kind of thing they paid us to do, well we knew all along that we had it made, made it hard to find a wife though, maybe it was a dream afterall.
AH! , Very nice but i think i will keep my Newport 33 , Jolly Roger , perhaps i will find treasure and buy a nicer boat , hey! any lady,s out there wanta come to Hawaii and stay with my on the Roger , had to try
+Simres That is real money! Happy to accept gold, jewels or any other major currency you choose, I prefer not to trade live animals. For currency converters to 'real money' try using this thing called the internet, that should help.
What an excellent showcase. I'm sure she's made her new owners very happy.
Great video footage Justin - anyone keen to see what a Discovery 55 looks like after a circumnavigation and 9 years of sailing should take a look!
Congratulations on the sale, hope you are moving up. Also thank you for leaving the video up. Discovery hasn't quite embraced youtube. A shame.
Randy J. Whaley thanks for the comment. Unfortunately no boat for the moment..... land people until kids finish school and we do another lap of the globe.
Without possible doubt this guy is good broker..i instantly liked this boat. Though am broke but its my dream mission to one day travel the world
Miss Behaving is now sold! Check out the rest of our videos (there's lots of them) though if you're interested in our adventures or this type of boat.
did you buy something else? or are you strictly on legs nowadays
Congratulations Justin on selling your sail boat. :-)
Beautiful boat, video nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful boat !
very nice lay out. now to learn how to sail.
it has an engine room! That's like a garage, only better man space!
James Wright its
Forgive my crassness, but what did she sell for?
wow, 3 heard sails, what a nice feature, i love the discovery, i think thats what "distant shores" sails, they recently had their 3rd one built and it looks like a mansion inside and out. the cabins remind me of a catamaran being up top.
Think I need to catch up here. Is the vessel for sale as of April 2022 or has this post remained up?
I like your boat! Enjoy!
You can certainly give her to me anytime otherwise I suppose I'll just keep up with the lotto each week and fingers crossed I'll get there in ten years but she is a beautiful lady
Love the washing machine
where this video was filmed i mean the beginning turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Looks nice.
If I could afford I would as the Discovery 55 is my dream yacht :)
I agree. Wow. Heaven!
she is expensive but she looks cheap tbh... Oceanis and Bavaria Cruiser class look way better and more elegant.
its a beauty

Hello Justin,
your boat is great!!
Helmut from Austria
Hello Helmut
Beautiful boat
Gorgeous vessel. Some new owner will be very pleased. I had seen some of your videos over the last months, and the Discovery is now on the consideration list beside the Oyster and the Hallberg.

+Justin Page If I'm looking at Oyster, it's all about the deck salon!
Well I was gonna make an offer of $749K but I realize I only have the $9k.
I can beat that offer, but it's just the $49k. It's for a deposit on a house so I'd be killed stone dead and the boat sunk in a harbour with me in it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hermoso Velero. 😢
Beautiful
lots off money too but she good looking sail boat
Absolutely Beautiful
Wow
Does the lady in the bikini come at no extra charge?
Can I buy a boat and rent out for income please? May I ask how can I get the license and do I need to take any driving test in please?
Some online research should answer your questions.
Beautiful, and the perfect size to install a 7' pool table. I am seriously thinking about this one!
at 4:15 Amedee Lighthouse, New Caledonia?
Romeo Whiskey Yep, spot on.
What year
What I don't like is the fact that all those nice woodwork and nice equipment could possibly wind up on the bottom of the occean, everytime I see a nice boat like this go down It really hurts ,I just can't explain the feeling that comes over me so no thanks.
For blue water cruising nothing compares to a catamaran, at least not at this prices.⛵
Plenty of people would agree with you! For me, the high end Catamarans don’t have anything like the finish of the Discovery. I’m also not sure I’d be as comfortable in a cat if the weather got really heavy.
Any Contests?
did i not see a bow thruster?
richard mouton Yes, it has a bowthruster.
nice
how much you want.
Can you get her to Houston or San Diego?
joey b Yes, that's easy! Shipping isn't that expensive or difficult.
Justin, I sent you an email last week requesting more info and never got a response.
I just sent you a reply email. Sorry I missed this.- not sure why it shows up between two older messages?
1:05 Two “spinnakers” come with the boat. I’m sure that’s what you meant.
Rod Billings actually only 1 spinnaker was sold with the boat. Still got the symmetric in storage if you want it : )
peace out it’s for sale again via Berthon. You should be able to find it online - it was built in 2007.
how much you asking
Sebo Juri she’s sold. The video is just up as people looking for a Discovery find it interesting.

How does a average joe like me get a boat to retire on like this. To me out in the ocean ,you and the waves is as close as you can get to god.
