Gotta admire Anya’s determination in making her fake dad proud and heroism. It’s a good thing Loid wasn’t far behind in saving Anya and the child she tried to rescue.
Well it's not just determination. A big part is her fear of being left alone again. She's been returned to adoption numerous times at this point. And given how she can read her parents' minds, she knows, when the family is at stake. Pretty sad, really. Of course Loid is completely not at fault, as he has no right to know or suspect her ridiculous mind-reading ability.
@@sowiwiody3681 That’s true. Hell, she only wanted to be adopted by Loid because he’s a cool spy. At least at first. It’s only after he rescued her that she started to like him as a father figure.

i feel really sorry for this girl...imagine the stress, anxiety she feels..her having a home and a family hedges on her academic performace ...which she is underage for...no wonder she sleeps so much in the show..thats how exhausted she is...plus because she can hear everyones thoughts it must be a strain...so hard to focus..and loid's contant anxiety for mission success is constantly evading her mind

Actually, height does not always accompany your age. My cousin is 8 years old, and she is still 99,5 cm (I cheered her up telling her she is same height as Anya, and it was very cute). But I also think Anya is around 5 ou 5/½, but 4 is very unlikely to me... but she could be 6 at the end, Due to the fact that, unlike her classmate, she grew up in a lab, was treated as a test subject instead of a child, and didn't developed much. A proof of that is that she grew taller after being adopted by Loid and having proper meals and freedom to play as a normal kid
