Hi , thanks for the video Long story short I just finished this weekend to install my hydro with dual caliper o my 128i and I’m experiencing a have to pull too hard no much travel and same issue dosent lock the wheel the way I was expecting , eventually locks but takes time Are the blue pads make the difference ( note running same caliper as the car with stock pads ) Thanks
Thank you for watching! High friction pads help a LOT. If you have the correct master to caliper cylinder size, all well bled, and still experiencing issues, that's usually where you need better pads. It sounds like you have too big of a master cylinder. If it's really hard to pull with very little travel, I'd suggest you change to a smaller master and see if that will fix the problem.
Hey bro i have a g37 7at just installed a hydro set up and i have the big Akebono kit ..i don't want to drift with it i want to hold my rear wheels with the hydro and launch the car .. how can i Tighten the hydro so i can get the car above 2500 rpm to launch
You can't physically tighten the hydro, you can make sure to bleed it well, and change to high friction pads (make sure it's high friction at low operating temp) and if that's still ot enough, you can try to get a smaller master cylinder
As always Brilliant Vid!
I appreciate you man!
