That's obviously because Hurricaneger was a small homage to Liveman. The main trio of the Hayate Ninja Academy had the same falcon, lion and dolphin motifs.
That was funny how he had the zords from Power Rangers Ninjastorm in this video because in some sense the zords for LiveMan remind me of Ninjastorm nearly the same theme with the 3 Primary Zords being built in the forms of a Falcon,Lion and Dolphin.

Funny how old sentai has animal themes but the mechs are basically just vehicles. While in newer sentai, animal theme means animal mechs with functional limbs

Only Land Lion is a true animalistic mech. The others are just giant vehicles with vaguely animalistic design.
