as a Cnd 🇨🇦 we have storms - winter storms with snow that reaches over roof tops and buries folks in their homes - but even so - I couldn’t have imagined this kind and magnitude of destruction - Helene and it sounds like Milton are tropical storms of one hundred year magnitudes - many thnx for all you have to do to take / make these images available (without politicizing things) - your work is very much appreciated - please keep safe 🇨🇦🙏
I cred the first day back to the John's Pass. It was so overwhelming to start cleaning out the shop. We will rebuild. Just nervous with Milton coming in!!! Stay safe Florida ❤
I am in the Ft Lauderdale area, and am somewhat surprised seeing all the appliances on the curb still. In my area on bulk trash day the scrap guys would have them loaded within 30 minutes of dragging it out to the street
This is unprecedented. This isn’t just a regular trash day. Literally entire houses, entire buildings, entire stores worth of stuff. The infrastructure doesn’t exist to deal with this much stuff in a month let alone a week and a half. They are just getting the roads cleared of sand.
I went to the scrap yard this morning in Pinellas Park. The line was 3+ hours long before they even opened at 8am. That's just one location. For days, only owners and their workers were allowed back on to the barrier islands. Thats where a lot of the destruction took place here.
EXCELLENT footage - although disturbing to say the least. Best wishes to our friends on the Gulf Coast in Florida from your friends in New Hampshire...
I don't live on the beach any more the house I grew up in is in Indian Rocks beach 1st st .The property my father bought was half mangrove swamp .Mangroves where removed before he acquired property. The property was built up with soil before our family house was built .This was the 1940s.Most of the beach was mangrove and sand bars ,barrier Islands .Alot has been altered overdeveloped on the beaches in the last 75 - 100 years. Just like people building houses on a flood plain of a river .
There is no way they will get it all cleaned up in time but the effort is impressive. All that debris will turn into projectiles. They have picked up as much waste in the last week as they typically do in a year but still have so much left.
Omg this so heartbreaking 💔 to see . This could take months to clean all that debris and I hope they get half done before the storm come . Thank you for the drone video . Stay safe out there for Milton storm 🙏🏼
Amazing Drone Work Brandon. When i see all this Debris , the Trashpile in the middle of the Town and all the ruined Belongings its really sad to see. But also its kinda silly naive ,putting all the Stuff in Front of the Houses now. How they will be able bring this away in 48 Hours ? Untill Milton will head for this Region , the Piles of Debris will be washed away into Ocean or even more Inland. The Storm Surge will be like a Trash Tsunami rolling into the Houses and the Roads behind the Pile. I will come back here after Milton if I was right on this. Great Shoot with the Corvette on the Back of the Trailer. And the Guys throwing Sand at your Drone , not funny.
Thanks for showing who the slackers are ! lol. Why fight the sand, keep the streets and yards sandy. Looks better imo. Impressive drone footage !! What drone are you using ?
They'll get it sorted out just in time for next hurricane season, unfortunately. Florida will quickly become at best case uninsurable and worst case, uninhabitable.
Sad seeing everyone lives pilled dup on the front yard like that Think if I lived in an area that got hit constantly by storms I would only have second hand furniture and basically live out a suit case
@@Hecto356 Hopefully it will be disrupted by wind sheer as it goes north. They are predicting it to slow down before landfall, but you can never know. The gulf is hot and that fuels hurricanes.
It is 30+ miles of this just in on the beaches and does not include Tampa or St Pete proper. They moved the equivalent to a year of trash in a week. In order to get it piled up for removal homes have to be gutted. Resources are also spread really thin.
I would never want to live with family in Florida. Life can be very challenging even without this. Just because I love warm weather, beaches, ocean... children don't need to go through all this.
I watched the video again and saw that the debris is being separated 1:15 out I’d imagine for recycling and not all going directly to landfill - also an image that really made me stop “and rewind” was the sand at a beach being sifted 1:58 to separate out the debris from the sand - you could see the two piles of debris and clean sand - not much compared to all that has to be done - but I’ve heard Floridian newscasters saying it has to be done so beaches can be “re-sanded” - much like the waterways which will have to all be cleaned / filtered before they are safe to use
While we love the videos that you share, PLEASE don't tell me you will be reporting from my county though. Just finished putting up the storm shutters less the 3 panels for the back slider until tomorrow when we fully batten down.
Some lady says to put it in your garage.........smh. What's the point when Milton will cause "new" debris? Except that the debris Milton will bring will be flying!
Such nice piles of debris already nicely piled up, waiting for the dump truck. And oh my goodness, if it's not picked up before Wednesday night, it's gonna be blowing hard all over the place again hitting windows and breaking windows........so so sad!!!
Amazing, simply amazing how an entire community can come together for a YARD SALE! If at this point in peoples lives they don't fathom the insanity of living at sea level well I'm not sure what programs or special needs work shops can help them.
This is the purest recording of Idiocracy unfolding. Wasting time, effort, and money clearing out half-demolished buildings until they are fully demolished in a couple days.
Just my impression of Florida...little tacky plywood houses jammed next to each for miles and miles. "Paradise" for poor people. Give me Hawaii any day!

I like your style. No music, no self-promos, or quick-cut editing. Just honesty 🙏
Thanks!
I Agee! You’re awesome.
I also agree. Perfect ..I even slowed it down so I could see more.🧐 Thank you for the quality 👌 and no music.
Yes to no music! ❤
… but I would love a voice over. Just where you are, your thoughts.

Excellent drone usage. And holy cow that’s a lot of dangerous projectiles waiting for 100mph winds.
Incredible footage and an incredible drone pilot
Thank you.
This is truly unbelievable...The aftermath is unimaginable... And what is to come, is frightening...
As always you tell an incredible raw story with your drone. Thank you
Thank you for sharing this video footage. The devastation is beyond comprehension. Prayers for all those affected by the hurricane.

Wow! I do love that some people through it all still have a sense of humor...free couch! 🙏
This is crazy! It’s still such a mess and now another bad hurricane. Evacuate and stay safe people.
Very well done as always!
I am in the Ft Lauderdale area, and am somewhat surprised seeing all the appliances on the curb still. In my area on bulk trash day the scrap guys would have them loaded within 30 minutes of dragging it out to the street
They're probably busy with their own scraps.

I remember a climatologist was telling Dufus Tdump about climate change, and he said, Well, that's your opinion ", and now look what's happening.
Why does every house remove all furniture onto the curb though? Wouldnt it make things worse? Someone, please explain why they do this.
When entering Florida…there should be a STOP sign…
And mandatory U-TURN signs
Seems to me like sweeping leaves before a big windstorm
Great drone flying! What happens to that mountain of debris when Milton hits it?
If the winds are 100+mph it would all become projectiles.
why people live and build a city in a known hurricane area is *so foolish* lets face who came first the -chicken- Hurricanes or the -egg- man?
It will become the same mess that it was originally.

Insurance will cost more than your mortgage after the next hurricane comes.
where will all that garbage go?...there is so so much to get caught in the winds from Milton....devastating for Florida...be safe people..viv

Mara Lago it's full of garbage already
Be safe???? More like get the heck out of there!!!!!!!

No way those piles are not going to get thrown about in a high hurricane wind.
Thank you Jonathan

I really hope they get a miraculous break from Milton. I live in South FL, I’ll take one for the team.❤

all that work cleaning up and round 2 will be here in a couple days!!!!!!
Oh my, God have mercy... It's like people's lives on the side walk
Prayers sent to our American brothers and sisters from Australia, as we watch helplessly and hope you all get out and stay safe. ❤
They cannot even begin to build their lives back until all the hurricane are over. May God have mercy on everyone!
Which not until winter December I hope after this it calms
Which gawd?

Plastic and Metal Funiture , can be cleaned easy with a water hose. But sleeping on Air Matress would not be fun.
Just so sad
Thanks!
Where in Florida are you all planning to hunker down and film, or not?
They’re screening all that sand that’s full of debris. They might have to do this all over again soon. Hopefully the surge isn’t as bad this time.
It’s going to be the most devastating hurricane Florida has ever seen. It’s already a cat 4 and hasn’t even made landfall yet.
@@Hecto356 Hopefully it will be disrupted by wind sheer as it goes north. They are predicting it to slow down before landfall, but you can never know. The gulf is hot and that fuels hurricanes.

Are those fellows shoveling sand by the hotel a chain gang?
please help local shelters if possible while there is time. animals don’t deserve to perish in this. Take your own pets with you 🐾
Just curious why it wasn't picked up already, it's been almost 2 weeks?

I don't see the point in this scenario.
I would never want to live with family in Florida. Life can be very challenging even without this. Just because I love warm weather, beaches, ocean... children don't need to go through all this.
Woke up this morning thinking about the people in Tampa Bay, Clearwater and Sarasota.
Do drones not have mics? There never seems to be any sound with drone footage. Great video though.
Will you be covering the surge this time or is it too dangerous?
where does all this debris get deposited? Is there massive Florida land fills for it all?
I watched the video again and saw that the debris is being separated 1:15 out I’d imagine for recycling and not all going directly to landfill - also an image that really made me stop “and rewind” was the sand at a beach being sifted 1:58 to separate out the debris from the sand - you could see the two piles of debris and clean sand - not much compared to all that has to be done - but I’ve heard Floridian newscasters saying it has to be done so beaches can be “re-sanded” - much like the waterways which will have to all be cleaned / filtered before they are safe to use
Incineration plants
Silly idiots trying to throw dirt on the drone. Whatever for?
I was ready and went back for more.
Please be careful when in Milton’s path ❤
Hi was this filmed today?
All that damage from Helene and they didn't get a full impact. Now Milton is headed right at the Tampa area. I hope people evacuate to safer ground.
Big garbage pile and a little trailer. 😅
If possible, could you do a similar flyover after Milton? I understand it might not be a reasonable request.
Will you be watching mitlon like you watched the last one? I enjoyed your live stream. Stay safe tho!
Yes, we will be in it live streaming.

When can we expect an interview with Matthew Perry?
We can set that up.

Safe travels if you stick around to capture round 2.
What do the red x's mean?
Red X means the house has been searched for bodies or injured folks.
Totally amazing cleanup. This needed to be going a week ago. Wheres DeSantis?
Just watching this gives a fair bit of understanding why insurance companies are leaving Florida on its own.
Man I think would just have to move out of Florida after experiencing such a lost. It's only going to keep happening again and again.
Everyone needs to evacuate this is so dangerous especially with the debree.

Lord forgive the humanity for their actions please have mercy on people
Where on earth does all that debris go?
The metal can be crushed/recycled once it's sorted. The rest of the damaged materials may end up in poorer countries.
Is this imagery from Tampa Bay?
The beaches near Tampa. The locations are in the description.
Does it all go to a recycling center ?
When will these people learn? The first floor needs to be the fourth floor.
I remember a climatologist was telling Dufus Tdump about climate change, and he said, Well, that's your opinion ", and now look what's happening.
Prepare room for more debris.

Ey ? ¿Sabías que alguien colocó 50 toneladas de chatarra en un costado de la Torre Eiffel en París?
There maybe nothing to clean after this hurricane
I think after this they will have to make new rules about how to clean up after floods
hey? you know that someone put 50 tons of scrap metal on one side of the eiffel tower in paris?
As many disasters have hit Florida, they could built a great barrier reef out of all that junk !

It's going to get better,, Carriacou and many of the other Islands just went through a storm and things are getting better
It won’t be be better Milton is already a monster and only will get bigger. This isn’t looking good for Florida
WHAT A MESS.

what a month to depopulate Citizens to fly-by-night insurers
This is what happens to a society that prioritizes money for bombs over infrastructure.
