  • Madhubani, or Mithila, painting is a folk painting of northern India. It is mostly practiced by women in the villages who have passed this art to their daughters through multiple generations. They paint pictures of nature and mythology to depict different events like birth, marriage, and cycles of life.
    I am a self taught artist. For me painting is a part of my life, Painting is like food for me. When I do painting I feel fulfilled. I specialize in original abstract, modern and folk art. I was born in India, lived in USA and Canada.I first learned first art from my father when I was child.
